Quaint little hotel with an excellent dining room. We stayed two nights and explored the site of the Beaumont Hamel battle. I had read that street noise was a problem on rooms fronting the street, this is accurate and we had to keep windows closed because of the noise. Meals in dining room and the little pub made this an...

This hotel is exactly what a small cosy French 2 star hotel should be. we have just had 3 nights there and couldnt fault it at all. the room was a bit on the small side and the shower small but you stay in a hotel to sleep not moan about a small shower. The breakfast was plentiful and we...

We had spent a day visiting where my grandad fought and two Uncle's who fought and died fighting in France. We went into the hotel for a coffee and glass of wine, and were treated badly, no welcoming smile in fact I am sure they wished us just to go, never ever would I advise anyone to stay here.

We stayed one night here as we wanted to visit the Thiepval Memorial on our way home from our holiday. I think it has to be remembered that this isn't the prettiest area of France, and Albert probably wouldn't have the visitors it does if it wasn't for the memorial ( very well worth a visit) and the battlefields. The...

Stayed a single night here as they advertise themselves as accepting animals. Owner a picture of silent indifference when we arrived and it got less enthusiastic from there on. Overwhelming stench of cigarettes as you enter and climb the stairs. Evidently the renovation programme has not reached the second floor yet. Bed extremely uncomfortable, bathroom decrepit with a cracked sink,...

The staff in this hotel were very welcoming and our room, although not huge was fine for three nights. The shower was superb! I requested a quiet room but we ended up over the restaurant and above the terrace but this wasn't too bad in reality. What I couldn't understand though, is why they were moving furniture around in the...

We had a family room (with a large double and 2 singles) plus a double room for a family of 5. In the family room there was enough space for a 5th bed (for our 10 year old), which would have been a lot cheaper. The rooms were nicely modernised and clean and it was quiet despite being on the...

Old fashioned and friendly hotel. Bathroom is tiny but it was clean and the shower was good. That's all I need. Was lovely to hear the church bells start at 7am and look out over the rooftops at the sleepy village. Breakfast was standard (coffee could be better) and the bar was more expensive than in the village pubs. All...

The hotel is modern and fresh. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is continental style, and a little expensive at 10 euro per person I feel. However, children under the age of 6 eat free, which dilutes the cost. The hotel also offers an evening restaurant, although we did not use it, it looked busy at times. Free parking...
