We spent 9 nights at this campsite over half term. We booked Eurocamp but be aware there is no Eurocamp presence on the site, check in and any queries are dealt with by the site direct. The team on reception are very welcoming and speak good English. We were able to check in to our mobile home just after 2 pm which was great. We had a 2 bedroom Azure Cosy which was very modern and clean. As with a French caravan there was a dishwasher and TV but no oven but a Bbq is provided. The pitch was big with a nice covered decked area as well as a big lawn area to put your sunloungers.
We have holidayed many times in Benodet but have never stayed at this site but would definately come back. The bar and restaurant area are spacious and nicely furnished. We didn't eat in the restaurant as quite pricey but we did sit in the bar most nights and share a carafe of house wine which was reasonable at 9 euros. There is also an indoor games area off this with machines and pool tables which our girls enjoyed using although most nights they met up with other English children at the football pitch.
We went to the beach every afternoon and then came back to the pool around 5 until it closed. There are plenty of sunloungers around the outdoor pool and normal swimming shorts can be worn. The only negative about the whole site would be that the outdoor pool is quite small. The indoor pool area is big and have water slides as does the outdoor pool.
There is a small site shop but there is a very good Carrefour supermarket next door which we used.
Benodet is a lovely resort with a nice mix of shops and restaurants and a port area to walk to. There are also two good ice cream places which the girls liked to go to of an evening.
In summary a great site with friendly staff and excellent facilities.

We stayed at this caravan in Benodet with Benodet Breaks in August of this year (2021). We booked this directly with the company who were absolutely fabulous. They bent over backwards to help us find what we needed and to ensure the booking process went smoothly. We arrived at the campsite which is a Yellow Village site and the staff there were very helpful and spoke good English which helped us a lot. We were taken to our caravan and they ensured we had everything we needed before leaving us to enjoy our break. The caravan was spotless and we were very happy with this. The bedding and towels were supplied and there were lots of little extras like board games and books which we used on occasions. The site is a beautiful site and has both a heated indoor pool with slides along with outdoor pools with one of these having slides also. There are plenty of sun loungers available, although it's good to get there early to ensure you get a good spot. There is an outside bar and entertainment area next to the pools along with an indoor bar and restaurant area. There is a large inflatable area next to a small Bouldrome and plenty of small part areas for the kids. The icing on the cake for us was the attached tree tops facility which is amazing. This has facilities to suit toddlers up to the extreme adrenaline junkies and our kids loved this. There are many other facilities on site such as the Go-carts, trampolines, volleyball pitch, spa, arcades, small shop and a good laundrette.
The site is in a beautiful area with many beaches and ports, and you can get a local ferry to some of Frances most beautiful islands such as the Glenan islands which look very tropical with their white sands and green waters.

All in all, this was a company and site that I would highly recommend to everyone whether holidaying here as a family or simply as a couple or friends.

Thank you again to the staff at Benodet breaks for all your support and help. We will be holidaying again with you soon.

Regards

Paul, Michelle and the kids.

We stayed here for 12 days back In August with our 4 and 7 year old. The park was easy to find and very welcoming from the outset. The facilities were clean and easy to locate and the staff at reception very helpful.
We hired bikes and explored the local beaches which were absolutely stunning. The town beach was lovely... very family friendly and 'le letty' just perfect. So safe for the children and totally unspoilt and uncommercialised which is very much our thing.
The facilities in the accommodation and the supermarket just next door meant we could do mostly our own food. The bbq made our evenings extra special. Even in the supermarkets though the food is a lot more expensive than in the UK. We would definitely return however we like to explore different places each year.
Also there is a great tree top climbing facility which is very affordable at the park which my 7 year old absolutely loved. The kids club and pool parties were great fun. Would definitely recommend this park to families with younger children.

Perfect family week
Overall, kids 10-14 loved it, pool based.
Notable: few cars, great for cycling, fantastic e bike rental, minutes from boulengerie and carre four (I didn’t use car for the week)
Great staff. All v French, program of activities French aimed. <20% English speaking, good mix mostly French (perhaps as August). Kids loved the evenings also, older kids had a social scene. Cafe/Bar was Ok value.
Accom was really good for what it is (we had 4 star glennan so inc dishwasher, no aircon). BBQ, well stocked.
The acrobat was fab, good value. Not easy!
And Benodet is lovely, we rarely went as the camp was so good for the kids, but the cycle route is lovely, and boat across the Odet.
Discussion is if we should go next year, that good.
Tips: bring a fan, and pillows if you can.

Dear Colina, Thank you for having taken the time for this feedback. At the beginning of the season, not all services on site and in the surrounding area are open. Due to the period of year and the unpredictable weather conditions, only the indoor pool is open (Aquadome). We hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you again, maybe in summer time. Kind regards

This was our second trip to this site - it’s really lovely . The mobile home was spacious and had plenty of shade and clean and well equipped. The restaurant is great . Good pools and plenty of loungers . Everything is kept clean and tidy . All the staff were very friendly.
We did miss the little bar - we loved having a more quiet drink there ( the main bar is busy and lively.)
Booked direct and communication was good.
Highly recommended .

Just back from a half term break.lovely campsite and well maintained, good indoor swimming pool.
Nice and peaceful this time of year.
My only gripe would be the recycling bins seem miles from our accommodation, got fed up walking the long route most days!
Would definitely recommend this site

Hello Sir, Thank you for your comment. Depending on the different prefectures in France, opening hours may vary. Here in Finistére, the closing time for establishments serving drinks for consumption on the premises cannot be later than 1am. Bars therefore close at this time. We're sorry you weren't able to make the most of your stay. We will take your comments into account so that we can improve on this type of inconvenience. Sincerely

Good for kids and families but beware charges applied by Benodet Breaks.
Various companies are available to stay with on site, however beware Benodet Breaks who remove money from your £100 cleaning deposit, citing trivial, ludicrious reasons, where you have no come back, as they do not have a compliants procedure, or are ABTA members.

We were a family of Five 2ads and 3ch ages from 6yrs to 1 years. We stayed with Benodet Breaks -Yelloh Village Port de Plaisance for the first two weeks of July '17. We travelled by Ferry from Cork to Roscoff. This was our first family trip outside Ireland and it simply was a first-class experience. From the moment we got onto the ferry the holiday began. The ferry was first class and there was nothing we could fault. It was a wonderful crossing and the staff at Brittany Ferries were top class. The highlight of our holiday had to be the campsite which was less than 1.5hrs from the port. The drive was very straightforward. As it was our first time we were a small bit anxious, but after about 2kms driving at 7am on a quite Sunday morning we had no problems. We spent 12 fabulous days at the site. The facilities at the site were first class. Everything from the swimming pools (both indoor and outdoor heated) to the Restaurant was magnificent. We were lucky with the weather as it was mid 20's. The site was immaculate and very safe. We first came across Benodet Breaks whilst checking out the reviews of the campsite. The positive reviews attracted us immediately. The welcome we received from the staff onsite was very warming. We were shown to our accommodation and straight away made feel very welcomed. The mobile home was pristine - it was immaculate. It was fully equipped with absolutely everything one would ever need. We were in a lovely area of the park and it was very private. During our stay we received a visit from the owner of Benodet breaks Steve who was onsite for a couple of days and took the time to go around to every mobile home to speak with his customers. Again, this was a very nice gesture and made us feel very welcomed. I could go on for ever about the whole experience. The campsite was not overly busy the first week but the second week it came alive. There was something different to do here all the time on site. From nightly stage events to foam parties to water slides. A circus also set up onsite for a few days and it was excellent. The shop and take away onsite was very good. There was a very big supermarket 3 Minute walk from the Entrance which was reasonable. We strolled to the port many an evening and the beach nearby was spectacular. From the second we arrived until we departed we had a superior time. Having got home we immediately re-booked for 2018. Our 6-year-old boy cried when we left the Park to catch the ferry home so that said a lot. The Kids had an amazing time. To this day (October) we speak about the holiday experience every day since, and the Summer of 2018 cannot come fast enough. Well done to everyone at Brittany Ferries but a special word of thanks to Steve and everyone at Benodet Breaks you were an amazing company to deal with and thank you for a wonderful experience and for making our holiday first class!!!

We are currently staying here in a lovely chalet. You can not fault the site for its activities for children and great indoor pool. We are throughly enjoying the days here and the nice towns near by (although benodet it's self has not much in the way of shops or restaurants)
Night time how ever the site seems to go from a family friendly site to a loud adult site. I understand that caravans are not the most sound proof of homes but what we weren't expecting was the noise of the people around us. Parties until sometimes 3am with loud music and games. This has been really disturbing as we have got a 20 month light sleeper and I am 5 months pregnant with baby number two. We are more shattered than at home. Not the relaxing holiday we were hoping for. We hope things improve as at the moment I am really disappointed and shattered!
I must add staff have taken are complaints seriously. Hopefully it will soon be sorted.

Hello Antony, You will arrive at the campsite around 9:30 am. At this time you can stop at our new convenience store, buy a croissant, or a baguette with Breton butter ;-) and reach the beach of Bénodet (by foot or by car) for an original breakfast. A stroll along the sea will allow you to stretch your legs, before, why not, come and eat at the campsite restaurant. The camping adventure park is also accessible (for a fee) before the keys are handed over which is guaranteed at 4 p.m.
