We had booked for La Tour, but when we arrived were told that we had been upgraded to Le Clos - under the same management and their main base of operations in the summer. This was a good move, because it has on site parking and a lovely restaurant, which they open in the summer instead of the gastronomic restaurant...

Coming back from a hellish flight, rather than going directly home, we made a pitstop midway. We fell upon this cute hotel and decided to stay as theer was room :) The service was very friendly, although I was a bit put off by the sales in the reception area. After that, however the stay was wonderful They accepted dogs,...

We had the set menu lunch here, sitting in the garden on a lovely summer's day. The service was very good and the food good value. The town was interesting for a post lunch walk, although rather deserted at that time of day. I have made a note of the hotel for a probable return.

This hotel is on the main square so if you like your window open at night it may be noisy. The car park is 300metres away after unloading your luggage at the hotel. The walk back is very pretty through a pedestrianised old town but would not be great in a downpour. The room was rather dark I decor and...

Hello Sir, Thank you for your feedback it was a great pleasur to welcome you in La Tour Cocooning. You may have noticed that you had an air-conditionning in the room if the room was too warm. Hope to see you soon,

I recently stayed a couple of nights in La Tour whilst on business in the area. My room was in the main building so I can’t comment on the Annex. I was able to park directly in the street outside the hotel for the first night, although on the second night I had to park in the free public car...

We stayed for one night in this hotel, as part of a group of a few people.
LOCATION
The hotel is located in the charming town of Châtillion sur Chalaronne, and actually consists of one main building, and one annex, situated some 200 meters away. We stayed in the annex, which has a nice big garden, and a lovely swimming...

We stayed and had dinner at La Tour. The room was nice and the hotel surrounding is very nice. The food was a bit disappointing and the service was average. The breakfast was OK. A bit expensive considering the overall experience.

Stayed here for 2 nights on business. The hotel is situated 10 mins walk from Chatillon town center. The rooms are very tastefully furnished and there are also nice grounds in which to relax. There is a nice swimming pool (I did not use) and the staff are friendly. Perhaps the downside is the 12 euro breakfast which is quite...

Room 11 is the best room in the entire hotel (main building). I thoroughly enjoyed the very French decor and lifestyle. The food was excellent, as were the accommodations and service. You may be disappointed if you are expecting the typical large, western-style hotels (yuck!), but if you are looking for a quaint French hotel in a lovely French village,...
