Jab created a perfectly relaxing place with a familiar atmosphere close to nature. We really enjoyed our 3d/2n! The rooms are simple, but have everything you need (comfy bed, fan, bathroom). Jab and his wife are very nice, try to help wherever they could (even drove us to the local bus station, explained us how to get back to KL)...

Charming place, nice and helpfull owners. Two steps away from full score: breakfast was tool simple - some fruit, perhaps some eggs and proper coffee would do. The rooms are basic but good enough. Great value for money. The owners know a lot about the jungle and the animals. We recommend Park Lodge

This place overlooks the Tembeling River and provide a village experience, away from the bustling and noisy town centre. The owner is friendly and enjoys chit chatting with guests. The room comes with a fan and cold shower. It's not too far to walk to the jetty, but do expect a bit of walk uphill. You can either call or...

We spent three nights at Park Lodge. The accommodation is basic but clean and the showers 'refreshing' but as the attraction of the area is being outdoors and experiencing the nature around you, this really is all you need. Toast was provided each morning although you may want to buy some cold drinks to have with your breakfast as only...

!!Owners Mobile:+60 19-773 1661!! this is a nice place to stay in kuala tahan. the location here in TripAdvisor is wrong. but the people in the village know the way to the park lodge. The rooms are little huts that are close to the river and far enough out of the busy and sometimes annoying village to enjoy some jungle...

Small park with about 6 little houses, each with 2 basic rooms and 2 bathrooms. It's beautiful to sleep and wake up with the sounds of the jungle! The rooms are quite large and there are mosquito screens for the windows. The bathroom is basic, but clean. There is no hot water, but believe me, you won't need it! The...

Nice place, quiet and very friendly people. About 7 simple lodges. No hot shower but it's quite ok. Humid climate and mosquitos around. The road to the village is small and dark at night but we felt safe. The owner can pick you up as you arrive by boat or bus. Breakfast is simple, toast with jam. Cheap place to...

This is probably one of two places in Taman Negara bringing the national park experience to your accommodation: the other one is Mutiara hotel, which is an expensive luxury resort and the only accommodation located on the northern side of the river, i.e. in the National Park itself. The great budget alternative with an even better jungle experience is the...

We really loved this place. The owner is very nice and likes to talk with his visitors about what Taman Negara has to offer. It's a bit more remote than most places, but it was a pleasant walk. Communication via Whatsapp was easy and convenient. The rooms are basic but clean. If you're into luxury, consider staying on the other...
