A gem of a place! We would highly recommend Tullich House, Janis and George were fabulous hosts, we arrived pretty soggy on our motorbikes having ridden across the top of the country and down through Sutherland, we were shown our room and immediately offered tea and scones and the woodburner was lit for us. The house and gardens are absolutely beautiful it is such a stunning spot.

Our room was wonderful, the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. Home made biscuits and a lovely welcome dram which was a lovely touch. We rode into Dufftown for dinner at the local curry restaurant which was great.

Everywhere was spotless and the COVID measures in place are reassuring.

Breakfast was stunning, everything is either home made or local and it is fabulous. There was a huge selection of home made jams, the bread for toast was homemade and granola and banana bread even homegrown apple juice. Eggs come from the rescued chickens!

The location is minutes from the Glenfiddich and Balvenie distilleries and is right on the whisky trail so Aberlour is not even a 10min drive. The Cairngorms are on the doorstep so it's super. George recommended some great biking roads for our onward journey which was great.

We could easily have stayed here a lot longer! Such a wonderful place and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. The hospitality is second to none. Thank you for a lovely stay wish we could have stayed longer and explored more!

This is a fantastic B&B. We don’t usually opt for B&Bs but this one really exceeded expectations. The room was extremely clean, freshly decorated and plush bedding, furniture and towels that were squealably soft!
The bath tub in the en-suite was ace too and the shower was hot and powerful.
Arrival homemade cake and tea and coffee were served to us whilst we sat out enjoying the sun in the vast, quiet garden.
We enjoyed the dram that came with the room and the choices for breakfast were amazing.
We had a full Scottish breakfast and poached eggs with avocado. Each were served with homemade toasted bread. We also had homemade yoghurt with fruit and granola.
much of the produce used is homemade and home grown.
The hosts were excellent and we have already recommended this lovely B&B to family and friends. It’s only 3miles from Dufftown along a lovely scenic rural road.
Highly recommend you give this lovey couple your business.

Staying here is as good as staying in any five star hotel. The rooms, service and attention were absolutely superb! Even before we arrived, Janis sent an email with a long list of things to do in the area and now I wish we would have stayed there for a week. She and George have created a beautiful home with beautiful, comfortable furnishings. They welcomed us like we were old friends and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and out of this world. I can't say enough and I hope I can come back soon.

Janis and George are incredible hosts, and the house is immaculate, tucked away in the Scottish woods near Dufftown. My fiancee and I felt home immediately, and our room was large, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. The breakfast we had was probably the best meal we had our entire trip. 10/10, highly recommend!

I stayed at Tullich House while attending a wedding nearby. It is a charming building, with large bedrooms with seating areas and super comfy king size beds. George and Janis are lovely hosts - it is like staying with friends! Finally, breakfasts are delicious and everything is homemade down to the whisky marmalade. A perfect Speyside stay.

We take a lot of short breaks throughout Scotland and this ranks up there with the best. Beautifully decorated spacious bedroom with a HUGE bed, awesome shower and lots of little extras like home baked shortbread and a dram in the room.. Breakfast whether continental style or full scottish (with eggs from the resident hens) was excellent and the owners are great hosts, not in your face, but there when you need them and with a great knowledge of the local area. The building is quirky and full of character with extensive gardens to wander around. Not the cheapest b&b you will find but believe me it is well worth it.

Two friends and I stayed here over 2 nights for a nearby wedding. The house itself is very charming and is kept to a very good standard. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious with some very nice touches such as whiskey marmalade.
George and Janis were wonderfully hospitable and made us feel very much at home.
A highly recommended place for a Speyside stay.

In 50 years of travel, our 4 days stay with George and Janis was the best overall experience ever. The breakfasts were splendid, new deserts in our room every
day, beds were fabulous. It would be hard to covey all that was amazing in 200
words. Our hosts were very engaging and knowledgeable on any topic we
happened to be discussing, and drove us to a local music event for the evening.
Stay at Tullich house once, and you will find excuses to return to Scotland for another stay. I am leaving the Hotel ratings mostly unchecked...as they really
dont apply to this lovely situation. JIM H ....Kelso, Wa. USA

We spent 2 nights in the Tullich House during our roadtrip in Scotland and it was the most memorable and wonderful place where we had been.
The house is located outside of Dufftown, a few miles from the center and a walkable distance from the Glenfiddich Distillery. It's next to the road, easy to find. It's more like a villa than a house, the garden and the house was perfectly maintained.
Our apartment had a huge and luxorious bedroom, a gardrobe room and a beautiful bathroom. The furnitures are authentic, the bed was comfortable, wide and tall, just as I like.
George and Janis are very friendly and amazing hosts. For breakfast we could choose various breakfast meals from the menu. We ordered our breakfast and we just enjoyed the burning fireplace in the dining room... how cool is that? :) We stayed there in August, but it was chilling. I have to say that Janis makes magic in the kitchen! She baked probably 3-4 cakes while we were there. The cakes were served for breakfast or served in our room. Talking about room service: we had whiskey in our room as a refreshment!! Since everything is about whiskey around Speyside we could easily adopt to the situation. :)
George helped us what to visit and where to go around Dufftown, he also gave me a map not to get lost. Unfortunately I forgot to give it back and I just found it in my backpack, when we got home. I do apologize for stealing it, I hope I can make it up with a nice, but honest review. :)
