Good location near villages and distilleries. Excellent lounge with several hundred whiskys for sampling. Breakfast is tasty and generous, dinners available as well. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Facilities were comfortable and the view is great.

We really enjoyed our stay in The Gables Whisky B&B: The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and very cozy. There was an excellent choice of different breakfasts, from full Scottish breakfast to porridge with whisky. The dinners were very good too. But what is really outstanding in this B&B is the Whisky saloon with its 500 bottles really good explanations about the different whiskies! The Gables Whisky B&B is ideally situated if you want to visit distilleries or castles and also for a trip to the sea. The hosts really succeed in creating a unique and enjoyable experience for their guests.

Friendly and relaxed we were only able to fit in two nights as the place was booked out . We wanted to chill as had a hectic two weeks and needed us time and we’re able to sit and read in our spacious room . Breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked at our requested time and the dinner we had both nights was scrumptious.. the Spey side burger was amazing

This place is outstanding! Especially for whiskey lovers. Their 500+ whiskey collection is so impressive, and the hosts Siebette and AJ are super knowledgeable about all the brands. We learned a lot from them about whiskey and the nearby distilleries. We especially enjoyed the chocolate and whiskey pairing! You can tell they really put the time and effort into creating a unique and enjoyable experience for their guests. We stayed in the Thistle room and really enjoyed the bed and the Jacuzzi tub. The breakfast is delicious- with fresh eggs from their chickens (aka Breakfast Support Team, lol). And the optional supper was great, especially the dessert. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Very gratious hosts ample accomodations. Unique whiskey theme. We were told of the bar pictured how many different whiskeys they had & having forgotten initially asked again she told me 538. . ."excuse me 540 2 more sitting on the kitchen island just came today" Beautiful setting in the Scotish Highlands. Highly recommended!

The Gables is absolutly a hidden gem in the Duftown area with its Whisky room. As hosts Anne-Jan and Siebette leave nothing to chance with an excellent breakfast, beautiful surroundings and special details troughout the B&B reminding you that you're near the whisky capital of Schotland.

We have just returned from a four night stay celebrating my brother in laws birthday. Everything about the gables is absolutely brilliant, the whisky lounge is incredible and the food for breakfast and evening meals is of excellent quality and all locally sourced. The area is stunning and there’s so much to do for the whisky enthusiast. Thank you for making our stay so brilliant, and we will be back!

A very nice and clean B&B with friendly people located in the middle of many important distilleries. The breakfast was excellent. With a remarkable whisky collection offered by a competent host this B&B is a must for whisky lovers.

This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Highlands in Scotland. AJ and Siebette we're wonderful hosts, full of their personal stories and current knowledge of whiskeys and the Speyside region. They have over 500 whiskeys available for tasting right there in their comfortable lounge area. Can't recommend highly enough!
