We had a marvelous time at D'oc D'or. Therese and Roland were perfect hosts, friendly and generous with their time and suggestions for outings near by. The villa, itself, is warm and welcoming. The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. The garden is just beautiful and a magnificent setting for an outdoor meal. The pool looked so inviting. Had we had more time, we would have luxuriated at poolside with good conversation and a book. The town of Murviel is unique and the access to the Med and to the lively and fascinating town of Beziers made this a perfect location for a break from the urban hustle. It was a real delight to stay here and we hope to do so again!

My husband and I spent a fabulous week with Ronald and Therese recently. We loved everything about it - our room was spotless and tastefully furnished with a super- comfortable bed, the house was charming and the food was to die for! Ronald and Therese could not do enough for us and their garden was a little piece of Heaven! They gave us lots of invaluable tips about the area which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would recommend this B and B 100% and hope to return some day.

We had a very pleasant couple of nights at D'oc D'or. Very helpful and friendly hosts, a tasty and filling breakfast and a nice big bedroom with plenty of room for our two dogs (the terrace room). We hope to return some time.

Great experience in a very typical and charmfull old house in the beautiful village of Murviel les Beziers. The hosts are very welcoming and warmfull. We fully recommend D'oc D'or for a stay in the country side of Beziers.

We asked for a complete package and the outcome was great, the hosts really put their hearts into it and gave us the best week with river canoeing, mountain hiking, beach life, all about wines, olives and culture.

We received exceptional hospitality from Therese and Ronald. A very charming hotel with brilliant hoteliers! They went out of their way to make sure we have a comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and the best of our week long trip.

I am still in complete awe of D'oc D'or after my partner and I enjoyed 3 nights there while traveling through Southern France on our way to Barcelona. The wonderful owners were there to pick us up right when we got to the airport and when we arrived at the hotel we were honestly speechless - the exterior was so charming (impressively large yellow estate, sandwiched between the other original brick buildings that once made up the wall to the castle a short walking distance away). We traveled during the hot summer so seeing the pool and hammocks to relax on was a major plus from the start. The interior of the hotel was absolutely gorgeous - the attention to detail and design (from ceiling to the beautiful floor tiles) was my personal favorite. Other highlights were the delicious breakfast, comfy beds and up-to-date bathrooms, perfect wifi and last but not least…the owners were so welcome and resourceful! Looking forward to our next stay!…

The Swedish hosts have beautifully renovated this huge maison de maître. The hall is a little basic but the rooms are large with high ceilings. Breakfast in the garden was a delight. The food was wonderful - home made green smoothie with spinach, ginger, mint and other delicious things, a yoghurt -based smoothie, boiled eggs, good ham and cheeses, croissants, pastries and lots of breads including a fantastic Swedish flatbread- best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The hosts joined us for breakfast which we ate in the garden under the shade of the trees and near the swimming pool. We didn’t use it but it’s a real bonus in the centre of the village. A delight!

We stayed one night in this beautiful restored Chambre d´hotes. Our room was very nice and we slept in beds from heaven. Really comfortable. It felt that we had known the hosts for years. They were really friendly and funny. We were served a lovely three course dinner with really good wine. The morning after we had one of the best breakfasts ever! We can highly recommend D´oc D´or.

I stayed here at D'oc D'or with my mother while looking for property to purchase in the area. Our spacious ensuite room was overlooking the garden on one side and the street on the other, it was well appointed, very clean, comfortable & cozy bed and were felt extremely welcomed as if we were family. Upon arrival we were graciously invited to a glass of wine and they kindly offered to make dinner reservations at a couple if recommended restaurants as we chatted and shared stories. In the morning, a spectacular healthy breakfast spead awaited us with freshly made carrot, ginger and clementine juice, a berry smoothie, fresh pastries & bread from the local boulangerie. Not to mention a lovely selection of cheeses and fresh sliced fruits. We felt so incredibly welcomed and look forward to seeing Theresa and Ronald again in the near future...and, in fact, everyone we encountered in Murviel les Beziers was welcoming and friendly! …
