We arrived early in the morning and we're lucky that they have a room for early checkin already. Very cheap accommodation for backpackers like me who's budget is very tight. Wifi is in the lobby area only. Wish you could also provide wifi inside the room. Since it's our first time to masbate we asked the staff if they know...

Rooms are old and run down. Definitely needs maintenance. But what I really didnt like: - They charged 5 Pesos for mug with hot water - They are not willing to deposit baggage (though they have 24 hours security staff) - WiFi only in lobby area. Whole day and night staff is sitting there and watching loudly tv (since they...

I should have known better. The hotel looked decrepit. Rates were cheap. But as a blogger, I wanted to stay so I can authoritatively review the hotel based on experience, and not on anybody else's impression. I had to be transferred from the first room assigned to me. It smelled of human feces. When I tried to see why (I...

The room is okay, just enough for the price. The bathroom is small with pail and dipper (i just got 1 broken dipper) but at least the shower is working. The internet/wi-fi is so slow or nothing at all in my room (located at the second floor near the stairs).

We paid about 750 PHP for a 1 night stay. Room is typical cheap style with cold water and tabo in bathroom. Room had 1 electric plug so you had to choose between watching TV and charging your phone. Here is the down side: DO NOT book this place online. I used booking dot com and had a nightmare check...

With its location near the port and establishment centers, this should be to go-to hotel of any business travelers. The GV chains of hotel is quite well known to other remote provinces I've been so I took no more doubts when I went to Masbate. This hotel is quite good. Except when you're inside one of its rooms. Unlike other...
