First of all, I would like to point out that the hotel is implementing all the necessary Covid-19 measures (such as social distancing, free masks and gloves everywhere, room cleaning on request, hand gel and sanitizers etc.). Yet it doesn't seem too annoying and there are no inconveniences at all. This is good and deserves a praise.

What I liked:

1) good modern sunbeds near the pool and on the beach
2) no towel cards or similar annoying nonsense
3) nice pool
4) quiet relaxing atmosphere (no animation, loud music etc.)
5) lunch and drinks are included even after check-out, if you have a comfort package ("all inclusive")
6) good breakfast, lots of fruits, cereals, cheese and ham, local foods, all kinds of fried eggs, pancakes and so on
7) a few cats in the premises (would be good, though, if the hotel management took a little care, such as seeing a veterinarian, putting some cat food and water for them etc.)

What I didn't like:

1) constantly changing shower temperature
2) absense of normal lunch (just a short snack menu in the pool bar - salad, pizza and burgers)
3) staff is seemingly trying very hard but some staff members are good while others are not very attentive (forget the order, bring the wrong drinks etc.)
4) alcohol which is included for the comfort package is of a lower quality than expected (not bad but cheaper than should be in a luxury hotel)
5) pebble on the beach (not hotel's fault, just an observation)
6) dinner is very mediocre, although there seems to be a lot of different food (fruits and salads are good, but mostly everything else is bland, tasteless, too salty or overcooked)

In general, this was a good relaxing stay but I hope that the food options will be better next season.

We stayed 10 nights in July/August In a family room. Hotel is really very nice, very well renovated with beautiful design
Rooms are spacious and comfortable, very clean
All is in a nice modern design including the large pool. Beach is a private one, with pebbles, really nice (there are some nicer beaches but this one is worth staying, I.e. if you don’t have a car you can spend your holidays there and don’t miss much)
Service is perfect, everyone really friendly. Everyone also fully complained with all “Covid rules”, i.e. staff had masks all the time etc.
There were some little issues, due to Covid measures, related to dining - sometimes the waiting time was too long and also the organization was bit unclear (not clear where to wait, staff missing) - maybe they could move all the various managers greeting guests to help the staff during peak times 😀. But the situation was not normal this year and in general they managed well. The advantage is the location - at the beach but also in the small vacation town with bars, restaurants etc.

The hotel was to a good standard, probably a 4* however the hotel seemed to lack a lot of atmosphere. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location, directly onto a narrow beach which creates the perception of it being overcrowded (which it isn't). At the time we travelled all inclusive wasn't available and consequently drinks in the hotel were a tad overpriced, going into the town was much cheaper. Unfortunately when we were there we had 2 days of bad weather and the breakfast room was chaos, with staff appearing not to know how to cope with the combination of rain and holiday makers.
There si lots to do via walks outside of the hotel, so if you just need a base to stay at to explore this is an ideal hotel, but if you want a hotel with lots of activities and amenities and entertainment...probably not the first choice.

My Husband and I stayed at this amazing hotel in September for 7 nights. As has been mentioned in other reviews , this hotel is exceptional.
Arrival for us was by private transfer when we were met by staff who proceeded to take our luggage and deliver it to our room . The check in process was very personal, while we completed the paperwork we were given a delicious refreshing drink and a cool towel. We were then taken to our room, which was clean and bright with a side sea view.
Our room was immaculate and the bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in , like sleeping in a beautiful white cloud .
Every single member of staff working here, from restaurant staff , reception staff , management to gardeners went above and beyond to make our stay special .
The food was delicious at breakfast and in the evening .We did enjoy eating at a few local restaurants in the village too , mainly for lunch . The village is just a few minutes stroll away and surrounds a little square where locals would meet and also a most beautiful Church .
The hotel grounds were immaculate, surrounded by fragrant rose bushes and olive trees.
The pool was clean with a view of the sparkling sea, lots of sun beds and pool towels available and the beach only a few steps away with ample sun beds edging the warm Aegean Sea. The sea does shelve quite quickly and I would advise wearing water shoes for comfort as the beach is of a fine shingle.
Our ONLY criticism is the price of the drinks! This is probably the reason that so many guests choose to leave the hotel after dinner and head to the village bars where the prices are so much cheaper.
On our departure day a staff member delivered a thank you letter from reception and some local biscuits and a beautiful glass ornament which were so much appreciated and an unexpected surprise.
We would like to thank you for a fantastic revitalising stay and we have already booked our return visit next June where we will celebrate our anniversary in this beautiful hotel.

The hotel is a midsize hotel located in Chanioti with a sand beach just in front of the hotel. We had a family room with 2 rooms with separated balconies with side sea view. The whole area is totally renovated recently and is clean as the stuff is doing a great job.
During this period with COVID-19 the stuff is following the directives of the Greek state wearing masks.
The beach is nice with crystal waters, with comfortable sun beds. Of course there is in some cases a limitation of findings free umbrellas as they are not equal to the rooms but the stuff is doing a good job by giving you alternatives near the beach umbrellas either in the Olives area or in the pool.
All stuff is always with a smile to help.
There is a beach bar in the area 100 meters away playing music the whole day but for us it was not annoying.
If we decide to visit next year for sure we would choose the 5th floor!

What can you expect at this hotel ? Firstly we booked transfers direct with the hotel and this was smooth and we had a great young driver who on the drive told us about the area and pointed out some of the local landmarks. His passion for the local area the the area he was born was really to be commended and made for good learning for us on the drive to the hotel.
From the moment you arrive you are greeted by a warm front of house who I guess set the tone for your stay. This being in a smart cool uniform that actually adds to the vibe of the hotel. Efficient, friendly, warm and welcoming. The service is quiet and attentive making sure your needs are met.
We are on a half board and the breakfast has a huge selection as does the evening meal. It is a mix of excellent Greek and Mediterranean style with some Western European dishes. Fresh baked breads and pastries. All the food is laid out beautifully and in a spotless environment with some live cooking stations both at breakfast and evening meals. Again service around the dining areas is attentive and friendly.
The hotel sits on a fantastic blue flag beach with plenty of sun beds on the beach and around the pool areas.. again the grounds are beautifully maintained and attended to each day by a team. We ate at Topos the restaurant they have on the beach front near the main pool. Again the relaxed vibe here is great. The food was absolutely superb ! This was one of the best meals I have had in a fair while this includes some well known places back in the uk. This matched and beat many for the quality of the food.
The rooms are excellent, clean fresh and modern with excellent local products in the bathroom made with olive oil etc. the beds and bedding are amazing and comfortable with a good pillow menu. Looking at how the hotel is oriented I would say that all rooms have a sea view on all floors we are in 512 and the views are amazing of the grounds, sea and town. You will want to gaze out from the balcony as the two tone sea here is spectacular with the foreground being a deep teal and the back ground deep blue really something to see.
We have been here a week and are not going to want to leave when our ten days are up ! I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and small resort it sits in, its a lovely place to visit. If you have stayed at other Domes Nourez hotels then you will not be disappointed as the quality and standards are the same as we received at our two visits to Chania.
Thank you to all the team at this hotel for making our stay relaxed and making us feel that we are welcome.

After a 70 minute taxi from the airport we were welcomed at the door by Lazarus, the host, who gave us a refreshing mock tail and a tour of the beautiful grounds. Although our room was completely acceptable, after asking about possible upgrades we moved in to a Junior suite with haute living. The junior suite comprised of an air conditioned bedroom and a bathroom/ dressing room with a stand alone bath overlooking our balcony. Along with a double sink unit. Note that there is no separate shower. The haute living option enhanced our stay as we were given access to a private lounge with snacks and drinks all day. Spirits provided in the evening. The half board option included an excellent buffet style, self serve restaurant with a huge selection of hot and cold food. The only other restaurant is Topos, an a la carte sea front venue, with a selection of meat and fish. Very disappointing that only a meagre allowance of €20 each was given towards this option. The live entertainment each night was fantastic, it really was! The ambience around the pool all day was absolutely exceptional with ample luxurious sun beds and attentive staff at your disposal. The beach area was easily accessible with out door showers and towels plentiful. We utilised the well equipped outdoor gym every day including the yoga class. There is also an indoor gym. We were impressed how clean the entire resort is with constant cleaning by staff. This really was heaven. Improvements that we felt that are essential however are 1. Aircon in all areas of each room not just bedroom areas and hallways 2. Curtains that fitted properly to shut out daylight 3. More sockets and USB charging points in bedrooms 4. Daily replenishment of the luxury toiletries in suites. 5. More restaurant choices needed. Thank you to all of the attentive staff and for the leaving gifts, which was a lovely touch. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and eagerly anticipate the planned refurbishment for next year. Xx

During the month of July I was staying at the hotel. Nice hotel, in a nice place, but with a few disappointing details.

The hotel has two types of guests, guests from Russia who have a lot of money and other guests. Unfortunately, the the second one get a much worse service even though they pay dearly and that is really discriminatory. Even for coffee you have to wait longer compared to the guests from Russia.

Prices are high and you get nothing complementary, even you pay for the water in your room by yourself, there is no option for late check out, and they do not answer your questions at all if you come from the Balkans.

The food is solid, but it often happened that I got spoiled food in the bar by the sea, which can be seen from the pictures.

Nice hotel, but many important details are missing.

Was given the best welcome ever after arriving late at night, rooms are clean and comfortable with large sea view balcony's, beds are large, firm but comfortable, bathroom is small but well laid out could do with more shelves for toiletries, same with room could use a little more storage for cloths, still very nice rooms. Breakfast is fantastic large selection and very fresh. Evening buffet meals are good but could do with more fresh grill stations instead of so much of the food being in Bain Marie, which in some cases spoilt the food such as calamari, fries ect, things that should be crispy, also needs more star items available each night. Pool and beach area's are just brilliant plenty of comfy beds and umbrellas really relaxing areas. Beach is pebble beach but the effort it takes to get into the water is worth it, crystal clear cool water, wow. (goes deep quite quickly) Drinks are pricey starter price for wine was 42 euros, and 5 euros for bottled water is too much, they do give a free half litre bottle in your room each day which is a nice touch, but in a hot country you need lots of water so should be made available. If someone wants mineral water they will pay, but should not be only option at a fiver (its water!!!!) The hotel overall is lovely and I would recommend it to adults as it is a true adult only hotel. The true stars are the staff, they are wonderful simply the best and I mean all of them. Here's a few that I must mention. Christina and here team on reception who made it their mission to retrieve my daughters missing luggage. Katerina and Eugeula from guest relations who were always smiling and helpful, loved our chats. Kris who took orders around the pool, thanks mate. Hung on the grill and the ever present and pleasant life guard Christina, thanks.

There’s no DJ playing music around the pool in the day, just music in the background so you will be able to read a book. There’s also a quiet zone for sunbathing where you can’t hear any music. I hope this helps!
