I highly recommed the Aldo apartment and the podere vignola itself. we stayed in it with family and friends. it is well equipped. the whole place is super clean and tidy. very spacious apartment. pool cleaned regularly. the host is very nice and cares about the comfort of the guests. there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the town, and there is a train to Florence which takes you to the center of Florence in 20 minutes. however, it's good to have a car on site. the place is also ideally located for visiting the whole of Tuscany. We couldn't find a better spot.

Looking back, our vacation at Podere Vignola where the best 2 weeks of 2020!
We realy enjoyed our stay with our family of 5 persons in a large and airconditioned apartment (Limonaia). The site is very beautiful, has a great swimmingpool with magnificent views on the vineyards. Also a perfect stay to visit Florence and small historical places.in the neighbourhood. Next to very kind and helpfull owners (thank you Gionanni and Francesca!) who were easily to contact.
We sure can recommend a stay at Podere Vignola and hope this will be possible again in the spring and summer of 2021.

We have stayed at Podere Vignola many times since 2016. We have occupied several of the apartments on this beautiful property. Each one has a unique style and view. Our every need is met during our stay, which is never long enough! The town of Sieci has restaurants, cafes and shopping. The train station to the center of Florence is nearby with free parking. We love walking the hillside and taking in the views. I hope your stay is as wonderful as our experience.

Absolutely excellent, all of it, really fantastic, cannot wait to go back. Having the pool was a bonus as it was a stopover on the way to a wedding. Peaceful, beautiful and a brilliant supermarket down the road meant that we could stock up on the things we really needed.

We stayed in the Toretta apartment. It had two spacious bedrooms. One bedroom had a queen bed and the other three singles. The apartment had stairs leading from the large kitchen/lounge area up to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms was an ensuite. The master bedroom also had a secret windy staircase which led to a tiny room which looked out on to the vineyards. it was like a private reading retreat, tiny but with amazing views.
The rooms were all clean and spacious, perfect for relaxing as a family. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the overall feel of the house, was that of a true Tuscan villa. My son also thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool, even though the water was cold. There security sytem for locking doors at night was great, so you felt quite safe.
The staff were very welcoming. On our arrival Giovanni met us at the car park in Sieci and we followed him to the villa. It was nigh,t and although the accommodation was very close by, it was a bit tricky to find it the first time. After the first night we found our way around with ease.
The location of our villa was fabulous, however due to the hilly nature of the area I would recommend having a car to get to the supermarkets and to and from the station in Sieci, about a 5 minute drive. Once at the station , we parked our car all day and headed of on some wonderful adventures. The train trip to Florence took about 20 minutes. The train to Pisa left from Florence Station and all up , including the time from Sieci to Florence, took about an hour. The trains left from Sieci station on a regular station.
Sieci had a few restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a self service laundry, which we found very useful. The pizza restaurant opposite the carpark in Sieci made lovely pizza and pasta. My children still tell family and friends that it was the best pizza they have ever tasted.
When leaving the apartment we had to dispose of our own rubbish, or incur a fee. The bin was located along the road to Sieci, so although a bit of a nuisance, it really wasn't that bad.
We had no issues with our stay at all, everything was just as we had hoped. We would love to return to Tuscany one day and stay at Podere Vignola in the Toretta apartment. it was recommended to us and we would certainly recommend it for a true Tuscan experience.
The only thing I did not appreciate at this time of year, was the mosquitos!! Purchase some mosquito repellent, especially if you plan to be in Florence at night time.

My husband and I, and my sister stayed for 5 days in apartment Fienile at the end of our multi-city trip to Italy. Our two bedroom apartment had a large patio with wonderful views out over the hills and fields. We enjoyed this same view out our large bedroom window while we sat in nice padded straight chairs, and sipped our morning coffee. We saw a deer and birds. The apartment, with kitchen and living room, was comfortable, quiet, well furnished, and had nice artwork. The pool was lovely. The cost was reasonable. The co-owner, Giovanni, was congenial and helpful, with the arrangements beforehand, and during our visit. We got our exercise walking through the vineyards, and into Sieci. Giovanni recommended restaurants, and the food was delicious. He drove us to and from town for our visit to Florence, 20 minutes away by train. We are recommending Podere Vignola to others we met earlier in our trip, and to anyone else who wants to visit Tuscany

We have just arrived back from podere vignola and couldnt say a bad word about it. The setting was amazing and the properties themselves (we stayed in 2 different apartments) were clean and comfortable. They were also rustic with great features and all the facilities you could need. Filippo and Diana could not have been more helpful and informative. They made us all feel so welcomed and at home.
We only hired a car for a few days but really you would need a car to get into town to the train station or for food supplies, although we were told to call them anytime and they would give us a lift to and from the town.
We will definately be back !!

We spent 5 days at Podere Vignola with a group of students. Giovanni and his brother are great hosts, always ready to help whenever help was needed - thank you guys!!! Since the agriturismo is in a hidden position, they pick you up at Sieci and guide you there.
The property is huge, very well restored and clean. There are 5 appartments on the structure, surrounded by vinyards and forest. We also loved the pool and the table tennis. Absolutely recommendable!

We traveled to Italy early July and stayed in Apt. Toretta. The farmhouse is as advertised and was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Despite lack of A/C, the temps in the bedrooms remained comfortable. Potential guests should be aware that it not a short walk DOWN to the train station...which means it is a very LONG UPHILL walk back up (usually late and dark) through the vineyard. We quickly realized we needed a car. The small town (Sieci) closes up early so expect to go into Florence to eat your meals (if you are not cooking). The pool was a welcome relief early & late (after walking all day). The views are amazing...drive out onto the road and make a right to go further up the hill for even more amazing vistas!
Giovanni was very helpful and kind. We would definitely return and recommend this as an excellent value. The train ride is only 18-22 minutes into SMN station in Florence.

I have never written a review before but I feel that I must after the amazing experience we had at Podere Vignola.
It was perfect! Giovanni and Filippo are kind, patient, and genuine. Every question I asked via email before we arrived was answered within minutes...no matter the time of day or night. I felt like I knew them before I arrived!
The apartment Loggia was beautiful and impeccably clean. We were provided with everything we could possibly need. The grounds were lovely and the setting magical. The photos you see are completely accurate.
My kids enjoyed coming back to swim and play ping pong after mornings of sightseeing. My husband and I felt that we could completely relax. Filippo and Giovanni were always available and clearly care very much about the happiness and well being of their guests.
I wish we could have stayed for weeks, and I know we will return. Grazie mille per tutti!
I recommend Podere Vignola highly. Do not hesitate to book...you will not regret it!!

Good afternoon. Podere Vignola is a located 1.5km from the town of Sieci. In Sieci there is a train station directly connected with the historical center of Florence (Firenze Santa Maria Novella). There are many trains during the day, from early in the morning to midnight, and it is a 20 minutes ride. Thank you! Giovanni
Yes! For the bathroom and, during the period in which the pool is open, also for the pool. Ciao! Gio
