Stopped in on Saturday afternoon for a meal with the family. Great choice. The food was freshly prepared, the burgers & hand cut chips were lovely. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, the drinks cold and the staff friendly. We will be calling again, thank you.

After reading good reviews I find it hard to believe I was in the same place. The food we had as an evening meal was truly awful. A burger in a dry bun, no relish or salad. The burger was of some highly compressed meat substance that closely reassembled a hockey puck. It was char grilled to a thick inedible crust you could break teeth on. I find it truly shocking it was served. The staff are lovely people but they seem somewhat apprehensive to take any feedback to the chef. Maybe the other items on the menu are better?

Stayed here for three nights for a short break. Every member of staff was pleasant and welcoming. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and was lovely and warm, ideal in the cold weather. Breakfast was great, and the one meal we had in the evening was very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.
