Overall, we loved the food, really enjoyed the scene/music/pool area to relax and hang with our friends, and we'd stay again. The staff was really accommodating and helpful throughout our stay from transportation to dining to other inquiries.

The Details:
Arrival/Food: Upon arrival, we were seated at a table - socially distanced - and offered a welcome drink, which we really enjoyed. Our rooms weren't quite ready, and we got there early, so we had lunch. We really enjoyed the burger, sandwich, fries, breads, and drinks. The club sandwich became our fave while we were there. Throughout our stay, the staff was extremely detail oriented, fast, and accessible. We did try the Degustation menu, and it was a Top 5 meal of our entire Greece trip (Zakynthos, Mykonos, Santorini, Athens). Guest chef Michael Marthas did not disappoint. We highly recommend it!

There's also a public bathroom, shower, sink to use while waiting and/or during the pool day if you didn't want to go to your room.

Room: We were in Room 507. When we first walked in, my husband was concerned it was hot, and it was, because it was 95 degrees out. It wasn't problematic until later that night when we just couldn't cool the room down to sleep. The staff suggested we turn up our air and gave us a fan, which solved the problem. It was also quite windy on the island and there were some bad smells coming from the bathroom day 1, but each day after, the cleaning service (who i think came in twice per day), added some good smelling stuff to fend off bad smells. Much appreciated and again solved the problem.

Pool: The chairs/loungers/beds didn't fill up until people were done with breakfast, really around 10 AM. There was shade, sun, and the bean bag chairs could be dragged to accommodate sun/shade needs as well. We really enjoyed hanging out by the pool, and the beverage/food service to our chairs/pool, even though the restaurant was right there. The servers and staff was really exceptional in attentiveness and service.

As for the location/transfers, the transfers were on time, clean, and accurate in every sense from the airport and to the ferry port. Myk No 5 is not located walking distance (for most people) to a beach, but we appreciated being away from the parties/loud/people, especially during COVID. The hotel staff helped us secure transfers (a lower rate during the day through the hotel than private transfers after 5 PM), and while expensive, it was at the going rate on the island. August is just an expensive month, so plan ahead for 40e one way to Little Venice, etc. (We did not rent a car.)

We visited here just as the season started at Mykonos 5.. we were picked up by the hotels free airport transfer service by a wonderful man who took us back to the hotel.. on arrival we were welcomed by a lovely refreshing drink. The check in was smooth and personal.. we were taken to our room which was quiet and had a wonderful big balcony with the most spectacular and beautiful views.. peacefulness and tranquility is a huge factor of what I look in a hotel.. both my partner and I work long demanding hours and so on holiday I very much like to lie in and not be disturbed by noise .. the decor was simple and modern, also very clean.. we had daily maid service which was exceptional with clean towels and molten brown toiletries topped up daily! Extremely nice touch.. We also had a turn down service which which included cute messages left on our bed.. these messages travelled home with us as a momento of our wonderful trip.. we had daily breakfast which is probably the BEST breakfast we have ever had anywhere in the world! Dinner was also good quality although drinks a tad pricey.. if I was being really critical! Mykonos no 5 is in a wonderful part of the island and if you don’t mind walking you can walk down to ornos and to Mykonos town, we did this several times during our stay :).. we also hired a moped which allowed us to explore further afield.. We requested a late check out which the team kindly arranged for us, free of charge !! Honestly the most wonderful holiday mainly down to all the personal touches and details that Mykonos no 5 had in place during our stay! Very impressed I highly recommend anyone staying here if visiting Mykonos ! Thank you Mykonos no 5 and all your hard working staff!

Stayed only 2 nights and had some of the best customer service we've ever experienced from check in to check out. Anthony was especially helpful in arranging a spa treatment for us at very short notice when our Delos boat trip got cancelled due to high winds and bad weather
The phone they give you to call the reception came in handy when a taxi dropped us off at the wrong entrance at 10pm in the dark scary windy road but they sent a driver to come rescue us!
Such good service.
The hotel and grounds are beautiful with a zen like atmosphere unfortunately was unable to experience the pool due to not great weather but I imagine on a hot summers day how wonderful it would be. The location is a little further from Mykonos Town then would prefer but easily accessible by taxi or their hotel driver if available although a little pricey, but it is Mykonos
Our room Joy Loft suite was amazing and the view was wonderful and loved waking up to the sea with the electric shade
Thanks for a great stay

Horrible experience on all fronts. Location is worse then ever; at the top of an empty hill with nothing around, no restaurants, no shops, no road, nothing besides some construction site view from the hotel pool. Once there without a car you are literally stuck, for good. Now the hotel will say “yes but we google pined the location”, but for god’s sake I was at least expecting a normal road to get there.

We have booked 3 nights but somehow were not aware this hotel is located in such a remote, ridiculous place. Since we found out from the other multiple negative reviews the hotel doesn’t do refunds, we ended up going back to the airport to hire a car just to get anywhere and not have our holiday completely ruined.

Once arrived at the hotel at 10 am after a long journey they informed us that check in starts at 15 pm. Now I don’t know what is this odd rule since in every normal hotel the check in is 12 pm (as in the other hotel we have booked afterwards) We had to wait 5 h by the pool just to be able to rest after the travel with the hotel staff not showing any empathy or friendliness at all.

Once we finally checked in we found out that bath towels were not provided in the room which is rather unusual for a 5* hotel. We had to call the reception with an inquiry so we could take a shower. In addition the hotel room welcomed us with no tea, coffee or drinks. No cups, kettle either. Shower was flooding with the water going up till the separate toilet bit, couldn’t be bothered to report it as they probably wouldn’t do anything to fix it anyway.

On top of overpriced and completely not adequate prices the hotel welcomes you with an extremely poor food and drink menu. Pool was always full with no place to sit. Idiotic, repetitive music played loudly everyday till 22/23 pm. Hotel shuttle is a complete rip off (30 euro drive to the city), as the rest of anything offered by the hotel.

The over all atmosphere in the hotel was terrible as well. The service was at the lowest level as if they make you a favor for anything they do (even though you have payed for it and it was not a cheap price)

We have left extremely happy that this nightmare stay is over and changed the hotel immediately, once the upfront payed stay has passed.

Unless you are a masochist and want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere and be treated very poorly by the staff this hotel is definitely not recommended.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, our stay here was fantastic. We were picked up from the airport in a private transfer, given a welcome drink upon arriving and had a welcome pack in our room as well. I went with my boyfriend and we stayed in the Corner Suite which is a little bit further up the hill from the main hotel and restaurant, but only a minute so not far at all. There are 3 other rooms up there which I think were the loft rooms and we had our own private pool up there between the 4 rooms which was very quiet and peaceful. The Corner Suite has the most breath-taking view which is the perfect place to sit an enjoy an evening drink or your morning coffee.
The rooms do have a small mini-fridge which is stocked with a few things but they are a little pricey and the hotel were fine with us using it to put our own water into to keep cool. It's a little too small for a bottle of wine (you'd have to put it on an angle) but they also have a hob and utensils if you wanted to cook in the room yourself.
The breakfast is made to order every day and the food was so good we ended up ordering a savoury and a sweet most days. The french toast and the pancakes were a particular favourite.
The hotel were so helpful when we were looking for restaurant recommendations and gave us some amazing options. I'd recommend Apaggio down in Ornos as well as Hippie Fish if you want an incredible sunset view.
They also helped us in hiring an ATV (quad bike) for one day on our trip which we used to explore some of the more further away beaches. They sorted it all out for us and even returned it for us so we didn't have to go back into town to drop it off. The staff were friendly and attentive and we were given a phone which we could contact the reception on at any time, even when out of the hotel to arrange a taxi pick up (as we didn't rent a car). The town is about a 10 min drive away and the taxi was 20 euro each way so not too bad at all.
The hotel has an amazing view across the bay of Mykonos Town and you can see the Windmills in the distance as well. Ornos beach has lots of restaurants and beach bars and has a water taxi which runs regularly between the south beaches such as Platis Yialos, Paragka and Paradise beaches.
The hotel is decorated to a beautifully high standard with real attention to detail. We can't thank the team enough for making our stay unforgettable and I would recommend this hotel to anyone - couples, friends, families. 10/10!

We stayed at Mykonos 5 for 3 nights at the end of our trip in September. Immediately on arrival we were welcomed by a lady to the restaurant seating area where she served a refreshing drink and cake. We were then taken to our room and given time to settle in. The hotel's style is very boho chic and our room had a view of the pool area and the city. In general, the vibe of the hotel was so relaxing, especially during the day around the pool area and the service from all members of staff was incredibly genuine and kind. We were very well looked after and given some fantastic recommendations from the staff of places to visit in Mykonos. It was such a lovely stay and definitely a place which for us made the whole experience in Mykonos more memorable.

Thank you for the amazing stay Mykonos 5!

Beautiful villa away from the busy center - It takes c.10 mins on a scooter to get to the Center.

Complementary transport from and to the airport was a nice bonus.Warm welcome on arrival with some refreshments and a bite size food (yummy).

Room was modern, clean, nicely designed and most importantly very spacious (compared to other accommodations in Mykonos). Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, you will get a great night sleep as it is very quiete all around. The balcony is very big with a nice sea view.

Breakfast had a lot of great options and the service was amazing. The food by the pool and/or dinner was also great. The menu is not big but everything we had was done very well (sometimes even better than what you get in the Center).

The pool area is great - a lot of different options in terms of beds/ cabanas. You always find a spot by the pool.

Service was top - everyone was very polite, spoke great English and went above and beyond to please us.

Overall I think it was a great value for money (which is hard to find in Mykonos these days). We usually never stay in the same places but we definitely will next time we come to Mykonos.

We stayed at The Mykonos No5 from 19/5/22 to 29/5/22, and it was a most memorable stay. From the moment we arrived, until our departure, it was a pleasure to be there. Every single member of staff, that we were served by, were not only a credit to the hotel, but also to Mykonos Island. Many, many thanks, and appreciation to; Maria, Stella, Katharine, George, Arris, Gia , and Chris, to name only a few. Plus the room cleaners, who were also excellent. Our room was perfect. The decor simple, but homely, fresh and clean. The bed was super comfy. Clean towels and linen everyday! The breakfast’s were truly excellent, with a varied choice. We had a few evening meals too, which were also very enjoyable. Always freshly cooked. Always very tasty. This hotel caters for your every need, and makes your stay, the best. Although it is situated up a steep incline, once there, that will be the only obstacle you will encounter. With a shuttle cab on offer from the hotel itself, or various car rental facilities nearby, the hotel location would not be a problem. We would fully recommend this hotel, and hope to return one day. Definitely a 10 out of 10 from us!

We stayed here for 3 nights in April 2019, had a smooth experience during check-in, and greeted with some refreshing welcome drinks. The hotel upgraded us to a duplex suite and the rooms were very modern and clean. We had dedicated parking for our suite, it was very convenient to access the property. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The hotel also offered us a mobile device with all the numbers that might be of our need already fed in. You good also get some good food, cafes, car rental shops, supermarkets near the foothills just a 5minutes ride away. Matogianni Street was just a 20-minute car ride away with some splendid views on the way. Highly recommended

Further to your request, we would like to inform you that Mykonos No5 boutique hotel is located in Kanalia area, up on a little hill, overlooking the five iconic Windmills, the Little Venice and the two ports of the island. Ornos village is the closest beach and it is at approximately 1 km away from our property, 5 minutes by car - we wouldn’t suggest it as a walking distance - offering a variety of beach bars, restaurants and markets. Mykonos Town is at approximately 6 km away from the hotel, 15 minutes by car. Regarding the road, please note that there is an uphill road, however not rocky.

Dear angbna, Further to your request, kindly be informed that most of restaurants and bars are closing during October, however quite few of them remain open. We do understand your concerns, nevertheless October is always a very nice period for someone to visit Mykonos, since everything is very calm and romantic.
