The hostel is located close to the center in a calm and beautiful area. The staff is very friendly and there is a nice dog. Unfortunately there is a cat too, which is my main issue. Therefore I can not recommend the hostel to anyone who reacts allergic on cats. My last night is 1 week ago and I am...

Staying at Mais Que Nada is like being hosted by a family rather than a hostel. Upon arrival I was instantly embraced and connected to the community in Itacaré. The staff greeted me warmly and we instantly became chummy. Sandy served as maternal figure. She was always responsive to my needs and promptly addressed any issues. She and the team...

What a magical place!! I have so many great memories from my time here. I immediately fell in love and felt at home. It is more than just a hostel, it is more like a big house with plenty of places to chill during the day, hang at the bar in the evening and there was occasional live music and...

We had a wonderful time in Itacaré, also because of MQN Hostel and lovely Sandy! She is everywhere and you can ask her (and the other staff) what to do and to see. So she organized good surf class with a friend of her for us. She also makes delicious breakfast for you every morning. In MQN we had also...

If you are easy going, open and flexible you will love this place. Many very friendly volunteers who sleep on the sofas and mainly relaxed surfer guests create a great atmosphere. However, there is no real front desk, the bar is open randomly and breakfast might take a while. Nonetheless, I loved the place.

Hey, thank you so much for your review! We are glad that you loved it here, we try to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere so our guests feel comfortable and at home. As for people who sleep on the sofas, it must have been because they didn't make it to their beds after a super fun night on the...

Reasonably priced, large and spacious, full of atmosphere. Mais Que Nada is the home of Sandy - your host - who is brimming with energy and humour. The room was big with a mosquito net and ok shower. Breakfast was included - scrambled eggs, homemade yoghurt and granola, fresh fruit, juices, bread and coffee. There is an incredibly atmospheric lounge...

Positive: The hostel is decorated with love and the staff is very friendly. The double room behind the kitchen has a huge and confortable bed. The staff speaks english. Good location of the hostel. Big mosquito net (which you will need!) is provided. Negative: The room stinks after mould and they served no breakfast (even it was advertised at the...

This is a great little hostel for high season. The atmosphere and layout is great- allowing you to socialise in the bar (they make the best Caipirinha here!) or just relax in the communal area round the back. Look no father for the best hostel in Itacaré. I love it because: it's not on the main drag, the house is beautiful designed, making you feel like you're in a special place, the breakfast more than complete with egg ham and cheese sandwiches, always great music playing in the patio bar, always beer available, 3 minutes walk to excellent...
