The fully renovated Sunrise Oasis stands only 300m from Sunrise Beach, regarded by many as the most beautiful beach on the island of Cyprus, with crystal clear water and fine golden sand. The hotel is situated right in the centre of the tourist resort of Protaras and all the amenities of the resort can be reached within a short walking distance. The charming church of Profitis Ilias sitting on an imposing natural rock formation is a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

My partner and I stayed at the Sunrise oasis hotel for two weeks in June 2023. We are a couple who like to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel, and are actually going back this year (2024) with the rest of the extended family. A total of 12, with an age range from 1 year to 50 years.
Clean hotel room, well maintained and many new upgrades such as water park, bathroom etc.
The air conditon was in good condition and was no problem keeping the hotel room cool.
10 euros as a deposit for a towel adapted to the sunbeds, and could get new changes once every day. At the end of the trip, we handed in the towels and got the euros refunded. This worked well and was a good solution.
Very satisfied with the staff and the service. All staff speak English well, and do what they can to ensure that you have a nice stay! The staff always greeted with a smile on their faces, and were easy to strike up a conversation with both in the bars and in the restaurant. We got to know Nikiteria well at adultpool, and hope we get to taste Nikiteria's specialty again! It was a 10/10, amazing lady who was good with cocktails!
There were quite a few visitors there during our stay, but still gave us the feeling that it was not crowded and felt that we had plenty of space.
We were also very satisfied with the food. Child-friendly, and good at varying the menu even at the buffet. We were there on all-inclusive, and made good use of that offer. A big advantage of this hotel is that during your stay you get to eat at other restaurants, which are run/collaborate with the hotel. Since we were there for 14 days, we got one visit per restaurant (a total of three there, and a buffet at the hotel). We never got tired of the food at the hotel, and it is a well-functioning concept with good solutions! There was little recurring theme at dinners at the hotel. We also made use of the lunch offer and the ordering options at the bars for various dishes such as French fries, caesar salt, etc. There was also an ice cream van by the pool at various times. Many good and varied flavors!
It is a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach, with fine sandy beaches and crystal clear water. It is a quiet area and the streets below the hotel have plenty of shops and restaurants to offer, there is also a small arcade next door, and the hotel itself offers various activities such as mini golf, games room, evening activities for children etc.
All in all, a fantastic hotel that is recommended! Looking forward to coming back this year!

Fantastic, service-minded staff who put the guests at the center. Corrects any problems immediately. Safe hotel that suits most people. Quiet area and basically all rooms have fantastic views. The cleaning staff is discreet and cleans when you leave. Close to the beach and shopping. To the beach and shopping there are walking paths with occasional curbs (low) and it is possible to avoid stairs. The rooms have AC, which is nice in the worst heat. There is both a pool and a slide for children of all ages. Adults can enjoy an adult pool with its own bar. A little noise can be heard from the slide, but not so dangerous. The all-inclusive food is fresh with lots of vegetables and salads but a bit monotonous (English cuisine as most of the people in the hotel are from there) but there is the possibility to eat out at other restaurants that the hotel has an agreement with so there is variety. Make sure to book a table well in advance for the other option. Sometimes there is an ice cream cart with ice cream cones outside the restaurant section. Pool towels can be picked up free of charge against a check that you get at reception. Plenty of sunbeds and bath toys can be borrowed for the pool. The evening entertainment varies in quality but is pleasant.
One of the disadvantages is that you had to sign bills at the bar when you had all-inclusive and that it is difficult for the disabled and the elderly to get into the pool. There are no railings at the pool. Before getting to know the parts of the pool, it can be difficult to see where the steps and walls/benches under the water are.
We have visited the hotel two years in a row as Cyprus really does not disappoint and this hotel really offers relaxation. A special thanks to Rafaela who brightened our stay. Can also recommend a day trip along the coast to get a bit of history around the area and enjoy the beautiful azure water.

We have just returned from Sunrise Oasis, our second visit. We travelled as a family with teens, along with friends (other families).
Our experience…
Food - not a huge selection but everything really tasty, lovely salads at lunch. We visited the Brazilian restaurant, the meat was delicious, and the Greek restaurant - both of these on the strip so it was nice to get out of the hotel. We also visited the American restaurant in the hotel, food was average, lighting very bright and the restaurant music competed with the hotel entertainment so it wasn’t the best meal we had.
Drinks were generally good, we liked having a refillable water bottle but only one for a family of four was a shame. We had bottles of wine with lunch which was good as we didn’t have to ask for more drinks - the white was good. In the evening, on multiple evenings the bar was serving drinks in paper cups - this was really disappointing and spoilt the enjoyment of the drinks, a beer or a G&T are not quite the same from a paper cup!
The rooms were good but lacked hanging space with one tiny wardrobe for a family of four and very few hangers.
The hotel was kept clean and rooms cleaned every day but one.
The allocated sunbeds is a great idea, no having to get up early to reserve one, although the beds are packed onto the grass area so you find yourself very close to the person on the bed next to you!
Entertainment - we watched one night, not the best. The entertainment area is so small and quality quite poor. There was little entertainment during the day, except for the small children - very limited space for them to play or do any activities.
The slides were enjoyed by the kids although many have cuts and bruises from them. The main pool was freezing with most of us not able to brave it at all for the whole week. Such a shame, some solar panels to heat it would be so welcome. Most of the pool is in the shade for most of the day. The adult pool was nice and not quite as cold but quite a few children around it (albeit well behaved).
The location is good, 5-10 mins from the beach and really close to the strip for bars and shops, mostly quite touristy but some more Insta friendly bars on the beach front.
All in all we had a good time but think hotel is now overpriced for what it offers.

Excellent hotel for families! The family rooms are large and spacious, there is a large central pool, a water park with a variety of slides (there is no height limit, the 7 year old climbed all of them alone, the 4 year old with us), a toddler pool with small slides and a quiet pool for adults only. All inclusive includes 3 meals in the main restaurant, a snack bar in the pool and free drinks, as well as ice cream throughout the day. There are also 4 restaurants where you can eat as part of the all inclusive, we ate at the grill restaurant, it was excellent. Most importantly - the staff is very charming! Everyone is very kind and does everything to help. Our son has celiac disease and Chef Andreas met us every meal, guided us on what to eat from the buffet and prepared dishes for our son especially for him (pancakes, pasta, chips, chicken). There is also gluten-free bread and desserts + ice cream. The staff at the snack bar were also lovely and made sure to prepare, at our request, separate chips, sausages... The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from a comfortable and shallow beach that is great for small children, it is a public beach so chairs and umbrellas are paid. The only downside for us was the double mattress which was very uncomfortable

We have just returned from two weeks at the Sunrise Oasis (8 of us) and it was amazing with just a few suggestions for improvement.
Good points: the hotel is located five mins from the strip and a beautiful beach with crystal clear sea. The staff cannot do enough for you. Maria and her team in the restaurant and the pool bar crew do not stop (they could do with a slush machine instead of having to make fresh ones every time) and whilst they were extremely busy they always greeted you with a smile .
The food was excellent, especially the desserts and always plenty to choose from - the food hall is relatively small but we never found it to be busy. The food was always hot and the lovely Al fresco dining was a bonus.
There are 4 restaurants both on site and on the strip in the town that you can eat at as part of the AI and they were absolutely amazing!
The rooms are huge, the beds are comfy and the air conditioning worked really well. The rooms are cleaned every day and we can’t thank Eleni enough for working so hard and keeping our room in some form of order.
The sunbeds have cushions so are really comfy and you can change your towels once a day. They also have handy corners on one end so they tuck over the back of your lounger so no need for pegs! The chap who manages the towels was always going back and forth to get more and I did wonder if there is a more efficient way with perhaps a big trolley on wheels that they are kept in? We were there over one of their busiest weeks (the second week seemed a bit quieter) and there were no sun beds left by 8.30 - most of the poolside beds had gone by 6.30.
The water park was brilliant - they have several lifeguards with one who sits at the top by the big slides indicating when the people could go.
The adult pool is calm and serene and the pool bar is much quieter.
Could be improved points: on our first day the pool water was lovely and clear and again one day the following week but in between time it got more and more murky each day. I know of at least four people who had ear infections including our son. I think part of the problem is the size of the pool for the no of people including those who visit and pay to use the facilities for the day.
The play area should really have an age limit as the equipment is only small and there were occasions when parent couldn’t take little ones in because there were groups of boys (aged around 8 and not supervised as the sign asks) breaking equipment, smearing ice cream up the walls and making inappropriate suggestions. The hotel did their very best to try and resolve it.
Despite this we had a great two weeks and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

First time visiting Cyprus and won’t be our last! Stayed here for 10 nights in May, large spacious room with everything you need. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Hotel it’s self is immaculate and the cleaners are constantly working hard. Pool area lovely, great addition with the new slides. Also you can hire pool towels at 10 euro each, you can change them daily for clean towels and get you 10 euro back when departing. This was brilliant for us with two children getting the towels soaked daily. Staff all so pleasant and friendly, nothing is ever to much trouble. We were all inclusive and the food was the only downfall for our family, the dining out option is great but the restaurant didn’t have much choice. I also feel in the high season they will struggle because of how small the restaurant is especially since turning all inclusive. It was getting rather busy towards the end of our stay so not sure how they would cope in summer holidays. I have a very fussy child who struggled to find things to eat, we had to take him out most days for food as there is only so many chicken nuggets, fish fingers and chips a child would eat! This was the only option for children on lunch and dinner everyday! As a family we didn’t go much on the Lemongrass when eating out through the dine out scheme the rest of the meals were amazing especially the Brazilian being our favourite. The all inclusive drinks menu is fantastic, my children also loved the fact they could go to the pool bar for milkshakes/ice creams. I feel the biggest downfall for this hotel was the entertainment, especially now it’s all inclusive. Some of the acts we see were shocking and it was only on for an hour in the evenings, most people would get up and leave. The bingo was also horrendous! But I feel a holiday is what you make it and for us we had a fantastic time. You are also only 5 minutes from the strip with plenty of fantastic entertainment in different bars every night. The last bit of negativity is it took 3 days for air con to be fixed in our room, typically it was fixed on day of departure. Lucky it wasn’t stifling hot as only May. I imagine if it was July/August time I would of had to make lots of complaints to get it fixed asap. Overall lovely hotel lovely location. I would come back to Cyprus but I wouldn’t use this hotel again as we love trying new places.

Flew back Tuesday from an amazing 10 days stay at this hotel, was amazing from start to finish, the staff make this hotel the place it is, they work so hard and are miracle workers, the biggest shoutout to the amazing pool bar staff who always went above and beyond to serve you your drinks with a huge smile & made such a huge effort with my girls.. Rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels, food was always fresh, sunbed allocation was amazing no more 5am towel dash, the waterpark was so much fun for all the family, my daughter's really enjoyed the kids club party dancing, definitely the best entertainment in all the hotels I've stayed in this area.. Already looking at booking this hotel next year to renew our wedding vows See you next year 🤞💕

We went as a family of 4 (2 children aged 7&4) in Aug 2024. The pros: Lovely spacious room, bedding remade and the room cleaned daily, and lots of fresh towels provided. Wifi was really fast too! The hotel has a wonderful large pool with shallow parts for younger kids, and of course the onsite waterpark is amazing! There is a little playground which is lovely and shaded. The whole hotel and pool area are immaculately clean and tidy. You get allocated a sunbed spot for the duration of your stay which is a game changer - 1 bed per adult and there are beanbag chairs for kids, plus you get beach towels. Hotel is located about a 10/15 min walk from the Protaras strip and the beach (slightly uphill), and there is a Lidl and a fairground right next door. The beaches are beautiful so make sure you visit, I've never seen seas so clear! The food was delicious - sometimes all inclusive can be a little samey and bland but the food here was honestly really good and lots of choice every day. The option to eat out at local restaurants was also brilliant. Excellent cocktails mocktails cider local beer soft drinks wine and slushies. All the staff we encountered were brilliant - especially the staff at the pool bar and a special shout out to the 3 girls in the kids club! All the activities for kids were excellent - pottery, painting, bubble and magic shows and of course the mini disco at night - our children really enjoyed them!
The cons: Our balcony was quite small and not much light so clothes etc didn't dry very well which was disappointing. The bean bags aren't allocated as such, it really was pot luck if you managed to get 1/enough each day. The toilets could be better signposted - it took us a few days to realize there was toilets near to the snack bar. Although these toilets are down some fairly steep steps so not ideal with young children. There was a team of lifeguards near the waterslides but in my opinion they could do a little more! There was a lot of pushing and shoving on the steps, and guests are often left to decide when it's their turn to go down the slides as there wasn't always a lifeguard there to tell you!
All in all we had a fantastic holiday as this hotel, it's a great place for young families.

Thoroughly enjoyable 12 night stay as a family of 4 (travelled with 16 and 18 year old). Our 18 year old is autistic and has learning difficulties.
Sun bed allocation is a game changer. At first we wanted to be round the main pool but were only offered 2 sun beds and 2 bean bags. That was no good for us with a 16 and 18 year old. We were told if we wanted 4 sun beds we’d need to go by the adult pool. Best move we made. Lovely and peaceful and not too busy. Ideal for my daughter who could get in and out when she felt like it and was never out her depth. The swim up bar was lovely. Special mention to Abdullah, the barman. Our daughter loved him. He understood her and after a while got to know she doesn’t like ice in her drinks so she didn’t have to keep saying water with no ice.
The rooms were lovely and spacious. Only gripe, not much storage for clothes and the balcony was quite small. Air conditioning worked a treat. A bit too well as woke up cold.
Food was lovely and varied. Spaghetti carbonara was freshly made to order and tasted lovely as were the pizzas.
The evening entertainment was good, especially Freddie More-Curry. He was hilarious.
Overall, the best family holiday. We would love to go back some day.

Excellent hotel especially for families. We last stayed at this hotel 11 years ago when it was caked the Brilliant Apartments which did not have the AI option now available. Our stay was great with only a couple of low points the first is not the hotel’s fault. The pool had to be closed on 3 consecutive days as children had poo’d 💩 in the pool 😡 why parents can’t put swim nappies etc on children not toilet trained is beyond me 🤯. The other being the night time entertainment which really wasn’t very good. The hotel is very clean, the staff are fantastic and can’t do enough for you. The dine around option is great but you have to book these as soon as you get there to get the times etc you want (no hardship). Breakfast selection very good and the options in the main onsite restaurant were limited but always a variety of choice. The sunbed allocation was great although the beds are very close and I wouldn’t like to be there during school holidays bet it’s very claustrophobic and noisy and you may not get beds together or where you want them. The Waterpark is great as is the children’s pool and are separated from each other and clearly signed. The toilets are down steep stairs which can be very slippery during the day but don’t think much can be done about this. Brilliant location, minutes walk from the beach and main strip, the latter having a good variety of bars, restaurants and entertainment. We went out every night for the entertainment which did add to the cost of the holiday but if you are there with young children etc you probably wouldn’t need/want to do this. Overall a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here.
