We were here for 5 days, just for relax by the sea. Sea, beaches and town were so perfect and beautiful. People were very kindly and we felt safe. Hotel is clean and quiet. For few days is ok, but has very old equipment somewhere. Great is a seaview in every room. We liked

We booked this hotel through TUI so the fee for the Wifi and the fridge were already included in the price. On arrival at the hotel, which was in the early hours, we went to reception which was nicely decorated with lovely polished floors. We were greeted by a gentleman with

Dear anikac615 Many thanks for your review and for the positive points you are mentioning. However, I cannot just pass by some major issues you are stating and of course they cannot be unanswered. Let me first clear something out that maybe was not aware to you. All rooms are the same!!! All rooms have been partly renovated in some areas and in the near future will be completely renovated in some other areas. Most important, these are the rooms that we advertise and these are the rooms that your Tour Operator, Fischer, is selling. What you have seen maybe in some other reviews are just few sample rooms we have done with the decorator to be as ''show rooms'' for the complete renovation that is planned very soon. So, if some customers have uploaded some pictures from such rooms, that does not mean that currently all rooms look like that! Furthermore, you have booked a double room madam, NOT a double bed. Double room means 2 persons. It is like Single room for 1 person and triple room for three people. Double room does not necessarily means double bed. We advertise twin beds and this is also stated in Fischer e-catalogue among many other things that you have not seen such as extra charge for using the mini fridge, extra charge for using the safe box and extra charge for the internet. Yes, for the internet, which some hotels including us, are choosing to exclude all these little things from the basic price that a customer can book a trip through a Tour Operator in order to get the best possible price, and if somebody would like to have all these or something from these services, then it can be paid locally here with us! I have also been around the world madam and this issue with the Wi-Fi is something that is very well received from customers having known this in advance. Therefore, next time travelling somewhere with a Tour Operator or even individually, I strongly recommend having a look at the description before you travel. So, scandal???? Fortunately not!!! As far as the beds being uncomfortable, this was reported to us after 3 days and we suggested that we can put an extra layer of mattress (not bed sheet) in order to get them more comfortable for you. This is an issue that differs from each individual therefore we cannot argue with that. However, you have rejected this suggestion probably because you did not understand the way that it was going to be solved. That is why you thought we were talking about bed sheet. Please be aware however that in these rooms have slept many other people which they have not had such issues. Changing rooms to customers’ requests is something that can be done of course, but only subject to availability. Unfortunately madam those days the availability did not allowed us to do so. Surely, watching people arriving and departing is not the solution to that as many people book and demand what they have actually paid. And in your case we have upgraded you in a Sea View Room from the moment that your booking was for a Side Sea View Room. Probably did not realize that either.... Dress Code....Ridiculous???? Probably for you madam...but I am sure if you had travel around many 3,4 and 5 star hotels as you said so, you would have experienced dress coding policies in many places. So, why not with us??? Wishing you a very warm winter, Best Regards Andreas-Louis Yiannaki GENERAL MANAGER

We've just got back from a week in the Adelais, and I promised the staff I'd give this review. We were looking for a totally relaxing get away break somewhere in the Med and we booked this 8 days before we travelled. We got a good half-board deal. The resort of Protaras is a

Dear Mr Simon S. Thank you for your review loaded on TripAdvisor. It is an honor for us and the staff in general to get such reviews from our guests. Thank you for your good words and be sure that we will be in touch with TUI regarding the small issue during someone's arrival time, being late in the night. Looking forward to welcome you and your wife here at Adelais Bay Hotel again, and I wish you a very warm and happy winter. Best Regards Andreas-Louis Yiannaki General Manager
