Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were a party of five who stayed at Palazzo for 5 days late September and early October. Amazing!!!!!! We would love to return and just relax without feeling we had to be touring so as not to miss any of the sights of Italy. Sunsets, food, service were out of this world. Quests should be advised only cash accepted for payment.
My husband remained behind a couple of days while the remainder of the party was touring. Simone and staff were so kind and made him feel so welcome. He is a pumpkin carver which Simone found very intriging. Our dinner on our last evening was awesome. Steaks are the best you will find and also the mushroom soup was on the finest. Many thanks again to a wonderful host and staff

Last minute reservation. Great well equipped apartment. Beautiful views over the typical Toscany landscape. Great food in the restaurant, breakfast and dinner. Two swimming pools and a natural pond.
Communication is a bit difficult as the owners knowledge of other languages than Italian is very poor. We will come back .

We had an enjoyable stay here for a week. The staff and restaurant were lovely. We stayed in Palazzo Conti A (versus B on the same property.) The accommodation is in a fantastic spot located a few kms out of Pienza. Very close to many lovely places. The eco lake was nice to swim in but the pool for Conti A was disappointing. Very small and unkept and messy. There was another pool but it is private for Palazzo Conti B which was lovely and very well maintained but we weren't meant to access it and were told off by other guests staying there ( and we were quiet adults). The accommodation is nice but very dated and has no airconditioning. This is perhaps ok if you have a window in your bedroom but one of our rooms only had a door which you couldn't leave open because there were so many flies. We had a kitchen/living room but again it was very hot and stifling and there were no windows and if you opened the door so many flies came in. Airflow is an issue. Perhaps other accommodation rooms are different. We also had major issues with hot water and some of us didn't have a hot shower all week even when trying to time it when no-one else was using the other showers. Luckily it was hot weather so it was ok. Warning also that this is a cash only venue which can be awkward if not warned about.

I was really amazed to discover that this Agriturismo has been working sine 1989. it's in perfect conditions, and the restaurant is really fabulous. Only issue is that the room don't have AC. all the windows though have the mosquito net and you can sleep comfortably with the windows open. Very close to the Cappella Vitaleta and to Podere Belvedere, famous spots for photographers. I'll be back there if in Val D'Orcia

I recently stayed at Palazzo Conti A with my partner and another couple. The minute that we walked inside we felt extremely welcomed by the thoughtful and friendly staff. Palazzo Conti A is a charming family-run agriturismo, where you will truly feel immersed in the Tuscan charm. It's located between Pienza and San Quirico d'Orcia. The property is beautiful, it has a vast terrain, ideal for enjoying long walks, and also strategically located for those that want to explore the stunning Val D'Orcia. It's very close to Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza, making it the perfect base for day trips. There is also an outdoor pool.
The property has a Tuscan charm: wood-beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and panoramic views that create a cozy feeling.
Palazzo Conti A has its own farm and all of the products used are grown on the property, so everything is extremely fresh and full of flavour.
You MUST try the on-site restaurant, it's DELICIOUS!!! We ordered chianina tailgata (chianina is the best meat ever), it was so juicy and tender, it just melted in my mouth. And of course, a great Tuscan wine bottle could not be missing! They have an excellent local and regional wine selection that will make the wine lovers instantly fall in love with this place! And a special thanks to Simone, who went above and beyond to cater to our every need. If you want an item that is off the menu, let Simone (or someone else) know the day before and you will find it the next day!
And of course, to start off the day, a YUMMY Italian grandmother-style breakfast could not be missing! Choose your seat and you will be served homemade cakes, scrambled eggs with pecorino cheese (wow), cold-cuts and cheeses, in other words, name it and they will serve it to you!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and completely enjoyed our stay. the host was very nice but spoke little English and my Italian was even worse, but we managed and in no time we we're shown too are room. Our room had a large bed room and a separate living room with kitchenette the room was very clean and comfortable. the property has a nice view and has a natural pool which is really beautiful but a little cold for my bones in late April. The property is not far from Montepulciano and Montalcino, perfect for a wine lover like me. The only problem we had was the shower had a leek around the drain so by the time you finished taking a shower the floor was all wet. I tried to explain the situation to Simone but my Italian was so bad I do not believe he knew what I was trying to say. I probably should have took him to the room and showed him. Hopefully the next person who stays in that room has better language skills then me.

We stayed for a week..,.. beautiful, comfortable, clean apartment completely furnished with taste and equipped with everything and more! Simone is a great host who manages to make you feel like an owner for 7 days, thanks to his discretion, we took advantage of the REALLY EXCELLENT breakfast and restaurant service! Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy the peace and nature that the Orcia Valley offers!

Saluti e grazie. Simone.
