Nice and quiet place to stay if you want to explore the beautiful Val d'Orcia. It looks good and authentic from the outside, but the interior with indian decorations is not the best choice. The host is very friendly and always ready to help you. Dinner for 20 euro/person was tasty, but breakfast is just basic.

We stayed in Agriturismo Grossola in May 2016. Val D'orcia is an absolutely stunning place, the farm looked very authentic on the pictures and blended perfectly with the tuscan landscape. It was newly refurbished and clean! There were a shared kitchen and few rooms on the floor we stayed. We wanted an authentic tuscan experience on an olive farm, but,...

We stayed here one night in July 2015 and were mesmerized by the surroundings with olive groves, deer and the view over Tuscan hills. Yes, you do need a car to get there since it's sort of in the middle of nowhere - which was wonderful! But it was a bit hard to find: neither our GPS or smartphones could...

On the way from Cortona to Lucca we have stayed one night. We were three families and all of us was happy for friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. The great view of the valley was fantastic.

My wife and I had the worst travel experience in Italy in 5 years of travel with these people. We called to clearly ask and verify the price x amount of people twice then when we checked out they doubled the price claiming we heard wrong!! Thieves and karma will return to you. Regardless I would stay in far more...

Hello, I already answered five month ago at same comment left in an another site (in italian). Honestly i don't know why he left another comment (now in english) on Tripadvisor. However I would like to explain to all what actually happened. They have booked for two person in half board (included room, buffet breakfast and dinner from appetizer to...

Nothing better to relax and visit the area quietly. Everything is perfect, easy to find by following the directions given by the owner. The view is beautiful. The room is spacious, hearty breakfast, you can get the kitchen in the common kitchen and dining facing the sunset and then dinner at the restaurant. There is also a very nice pool.

A fantastic 3 night stay whilst attending a wedding at the nearby Castello di Velona. The rooms were large and very comfy with stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. The hearty, homecooked meals were a real delight, the homemade fig jam tart and hare stew were particular favourites (though the one vegetarian was also very well catered for too). However...

Astonishingly beautiful and peaceful, Grossola has incredible views of the surrounding countryside. Waking up to such breathtaking views was a treat to remember. Far from the crowds of Florence, here you will experience wonderful peacefulness and tranquility. The welcome was very warm with some interesting advice on some of the less well known attractions in the area. The food was...
