Great staff who were very helpful when my mother and I came in from the pouring rain. They were informative about the local lamplighter festival coming up (every November). The setting was great, right by a local landmark, great HILLY walks, with a handy carpark....More
Lovely old pub,with character ,charm,good pub food and atmosphere.We stayed 4 nights in double room which was well decorated,warm,cosy,with kettle, tea facility,TV,nice bathroom.New towels daily.Breakfast was sumptuous, healthy options,set us up for the long days.The host was chatty ,attentive and funny.
