Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Super friendly and great kitchen. Great area for skiing and mountain walking. Highlights are choosing your dinner at breakfast time so you can look forward to it all day. Spacious rooms, wellness and stunning views, for a very reasonable price.

The best stay we had on our European trip. Family run hotel by old family from the village. Great views from our comfortable room. Food was incredible, first class. Our server was excellent, translated the menus into English each night. Really felt part of Europe with mainly Italian guests and some German tourists. Most were day hikers. The hotel is up on a hillside above town, a country roads for a stroll. Iva Di Fassa was only 5 min away by car.

I last visited in July 2016 and thought the hotel was superb then. Three years on, if anything, it was even better. The views from the hotel are beautiful, and it is lovely and peaceful. The food though is literally amazing. Thanks so much, I aim to visit again!

The hotel is very nice even if the furniture is sometimes old. The room was nice, well located and a bit small for 3 people. Dinner was very good and breakfast could be improved. Hotel staff is great and the spa is very nice and well managed.

I stayed here for a week with a coworker while skiing all around the area. The hotel is in a great location above Vigo di Fassa and about 30 minutes from Bolzano. It is run by a family and has three generations living on site. They were a huge help with ideas and recommendations for where and what to ski. We also really enjoyed the food. The hotel hosts a Michelin Star restaurant and serves world class food on site. I can't recommend Hotel Gran Mugon enough.

This Hotel is located in a little hamlet of Tamion, surrounded by farms and alpine meadows. It is family owned and operated. The breakfast selections are one of the best we experienced in Europe offering many locally produced selections of cheese, cold cuts and jams. Dinner menu is fixed with choice of at least three main dishes and is changed every day of the week. Sunday dinner is a delicious traditional Ladin food. We found the intimate and relaxed atmosphere of this place very appealing and it is moderately priced.
