Visited with my other half for a hearty pub tea after a long day at work and was not disappointed! Very warm and cosy and clean decor and atmosphere - country pub feel. Greeted and served by polite and un-intrusive staff who were always happy to help with whatever you wanted. Food was lovely and well priced, classic pub dishes...

Had a great Sunday lunch. Plenty of potato, veg and lovely Yorkshires. The meat is great and you get a lot of it! My partner loved it. It was quiet when we visited so we had a really relaxing time. Will definitely be back to try the pie! And thankyou to the staff for being so friendly and accommodating.

We visited the woolpack with friends on a mid week evening for a pub meal. The pub has apparently been rescued and re opened after a long period of closure. The extensively refurbished pub is very warm and welcoming, it's quiet mid week but no doubt this will change as word gets around how good it is. The offered menus...

Went her for Sunday lunch parents and grandparents eight in total. Food was very good - had been warned about portion size and it is true - they are big. So we missed out on a starter and had a dessert. The staff were very good and allowed us to split a meal for the kids and also an ice...

Visited with some friends and their baby on Sunday for lunch. We were sat in the conservatory at the back. The carpets are lovely, they must be new, the whole place is really clean too. We booked a take, just to make sure as we had heard good reviews We all had a starter, my garlic mushrooms were delicious and...

Stunning food, me and my partner both ordered the surf and turf, only criticism was the first king prawn I picked up hadn't been de-veined! A massive no no! Everything was cooked perfectly and side salad was a decently sized portion. Slightly strange that the waitress asked if the salad dressing tasted ok, when I replied yes, she said "Oh...

Early Bird menu until 6pm. Great menu, plenty of choices. Both food & service was excellent. Coffee was also served hot & not luke warm like a lot of other restaurants do. Will definitely be returning.
