Traditional, rustic and charming! Breakfast set out in the garden courtyard, a truly memorable setting. But the real jewel of this establishment is Rosa, Nothing was too much trouble, and she was so welcoming.

Casa Jazmin is a lovely B&B. On arrival we were met by Rosa who we found to be a delightful hostess. The accommodation is clean and the breakfast was nicely presented in the lovely garden. Breakfast consisted of bread and jam, fresh fruit and a different home made cake each day. There is a small swimming pool in the garden and in the height of summer I imagine there will be plenty of welcome shade. The garden is a lovely place to relax in after a day in the mountains. It isn´t an easy place to find and be were pleased we had our sat nav.
Its major problem is the town it is situated in. Orgiva has very little going for it. There is a hippy commune nearby. They claim to live the simple life and are self-sufficient however they were not self-sufficient in soap. A lot of them were in the bars and about town in the evening. The town itself is very run down.
However, the Alpujarras is an excellent place to visit. The scenery is quite fantastic. Whilst there we visited Pampaneira, Bubion, Capiliera and Portugos. Of course there are many more villages to see in this lovely area. Casa Jazmin could certainly be a base to travel from but as above, don´t bank on having a lovely evening in Orgiva.

Room Tip: I think there are four or possibly five rooms. Only one has its own terrace, which we were lucky...

Casa Jazmin is the perfect place to stop and chill out. Our room was furnished in a nice simple rustic style with a large ensuite bathroom. There is a lovely shaded garden to sit in with a swimming pool and fountain surrounded by fig, lemon and pomegranate trees. It is a short walk to the town square to find a restaurant or you can simply bring some food of your own and enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace. The atmosphere is informal and very relaxed. We had a lovely breakfast with home made jam and pastries which set us up nicely for more exploration of the region. Thanks Joelle for a lovely stay.

We've been to Spain many times over the past 30 years and we even once spent a month lodging, camping and vagabonding the interior. In all this time we have stayed in countless places but Casa Jazmin is the best yet.
It sits in a beautiful setting at the top of Orgiva town with stunning views below.
Our room was simple, with en-suite, very clean and so well thought out and with an amazing balcony - though it was far too hot to sit out past 10am !
The gardens are divine with various fruit trees including Oranges that supply the juice for breakfast and mandarins that make the marmalade. The breakfast, outdoors when weather permits, which is most of the year, is wonderful. Toast, juice, coffee/tea and home made cake - all lovingly served by the wonderful partnership of Joelle and Rosa who are both simply lovely and cannot help you enough.
Often used as the B&B by people on local yoga courses, it is also perfect for mountain walkers and outdoors types and of course by people wanting to explore the timeless white washed villages and generally a wonderful base for all Las Alpajurras (by far the most beautiful region of Spain) has to offer.
If you arrive by car, as we did, it has to be parked about 100 yards which is no distance and it's free!
A great time was had and it actually felt as we had been to Spain and not an English resort.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting friends who live in town. The host was very nice and the place was quiet and had lovely gardens with fruit trees. It is an older home but is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good too!

My wife and I stayed in Casa Jazmin for 10 days in June 2017, using it as a base to explore the Alpajuras region. We were warmly welcomed by Rosa on our arrival and met Joelle the following morning at breakfast. Ah, the breakfasts...a great start to every day with fresh fruit, toast with homemade jam and the most wonderful cake, again homemade. Joelle was most helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to visit.
Our room was spacious with air con and a comfortable bed. The room opened out to a rooftop area which was great for sitting out in the evening. There is a small swimming pool which is ideal for a cool off. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

Loved this place, the garden was lovely to sit for breakfast served by the delightful owner. Quick walk down a few steps to the centre of Orgiva, which was a delightful traditional Spanish town. As usual found the best bar on the last night !

We have just spent two glorious nights in Casa Jazmin with our dog. Joelle and Rosa were charming hosts and made us very very welcome- even the dog! Our room was perfect- comfy, silent and spacious. The outside seating area was shady and full of trees and plants. Our breakfasts were tasty and adequate. The only issue for us was the parking which was close by but involved a climb of 60 steps back to Casa Jazmin, not great if you have mobility issues. Loved chilling in the pool after a hot day exploring.

Casa Jazmin is a beautiful authentic Spanish casa. With beautiful gardens full of fruit trees and views of the mountains there is something special and relaxing about this place. The host Rosa was so welcoming and we felt very relaxed in her home. I would love to visit again in the summer to be able to sit in the garden and enjoy the homemade breakfast treats in the sun!
