Highly recommend staying here for value of money, cleanliness and location. The staff here are really really nice and so accommodating. The restaurant serves exceptional food catering traditional and genuine vegetarian food which can be a challenge in rural Spain. Even if not staying here it is a must place to eat with great local authentic atmosphere infused with non native locals and tourists. Our waitress provided excellent hospitality and had the pleasure of dining there twice and being treated so well. All the staff were so nice and friendly. The hotel itself were so accommodating, the fact that we arrived so early on our second visit @11:20 am they let us check in. This made such a difference as we had just accented the mountains and in need of shower and rest. We were delighted with our stay and I would return again if only for the delicious cod dish!!! Thanks for a great stay!!!

The hotel is in an excellent location just a few hundred metres 'above' Orgiva and an easy walk into town. There is good access to high Sierra Nevada. Our room was a reasonable size - the hotel's one junior suite. Staff excellent, particularly Robert the waiter! Everything very clean. Reasonable free parking. Breakfast good, some lovely jamon! Lunch excellent. Good value for money.

We found this hotel the perfect getaway for three nights over the New Year. We found it ideal for exploring the Alpujarras. There is a huge bar attatched to the side of the hotel, which we used all the time. Mornings for breakfast and evenings for toddies before bed. They also serve evening meals which were plentiful. It is a family run hotel, and they are all so obliging. Would stay there again if in that area

All night the staff bang and whistle general loud noise and lack of care. The time they finally shut up to sleep its about midnight. If your on the first floor you can hear everything, not the place to be if you want a quiet early night, also ordered croquettes from here, came to me frozen in middle.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend deal. The building looks well-taken care of; recently whitewashed, flower pots and all. The receptionist was very helpful, provided us with maps and some idea of what's going on in town.

The rooms too, have an interesting painted wall design and every thing was spotlessly clean and the duvet cover and towels felt new. It was quite cold as March is still a cold time of year at night in Orgiva, the AC worked efficently though may sound a tad noisy for a light sleeper.

The breakfast was the decent Spanish fair and the bread, although white, was freshly baked and not too crusty --unlike most bread sold in Spanish villages and towns. Good strong coffee and you've a choice of having breakfast on a terrace with nice views of the mountains and olive groves or indoors.

We'd definately stay there again.

There is very little choice of hotels in the traditional town of Orgiva so we were happy to get a double room for only 50 euros including breakfast with no prior booking. This was probably a good hotel in it's day but the bathroom definitely needed updating and there was only one channel on the TV. However the bed was comfortable and the linen crisp and clean. The breakfast was simple but adequate.
(The wall painting behind the bed head was not to our taste - yuk!)

Was a bit hard to find, had to follow road A-348 and look for the km signs. We got a small room with only one chair. However good beds, light and air conditioning. We heard noise from the hotel elevator and from the fans outside. Breakfast was very poor, only coffee/tea and toast.

One of the best quality/price hotel available in Orgiva, we had a great stay, you must stay at the restaurant to taste the meat and typical dishes from the region. The personal was very kind and helped us find interesting spots nearby.

The Puerta Nazari was a lovely place to stay. We arrived early and they let us check in, no problem and no questions asked! There is a little lift as well so you do not have to struggle up stairs if your suitcase. The lady on reception was very helpful and talked us through a map of the surrounding area giving us hints and tips of things we could do in the local area. This was a really nice touch. There is free wifi for residents and the bar and restaurant serve lovely food.
We were 3 friends staying in a triple room and there was plenty of space for us and our luggage and a large wardrobe to hang clothes and unpack.
It was easy walking distance to the centre of Orgiva (5-10mins) and as it was situated just outside and slightly up the hill, it offered beautiful views of the mountains and Orgiva itself. The beds were extremely comfortable and our room was cleaned daily. Only thing missing was maybe a little fridge but this was by no means a deal breaker. There isn't a pool, so if you are visiting in high summer, bear this in mind. But you are only a 5 minute walk away from Orgiva's municipal pool which I think you can use.
The hotel was a wonderful base for exploring Orgiva and the surrounding area. We hired a car and did a day trip up the mountains to Trevelez and Portugos. It is also about a 45 minute drive to Granada. If you do not have a car, then there is a regular bus service running to Granada which only costs 5euros.
We did not have breakfast in the hotel as we preferred to walk into Orgiva and have it at Galindos (service a little relaxed, typically spanish! but food was lovely!)
All in all, we couldn't fault our stay at all. It was as close to perfect as it gets, and an absolute bargain of a price too. Enjoy!
