That is the question my husband asked at the breakfast table. The staff had obviously done their part when they had put out a standard varieties of condiments, cheese and ham. They were not to be seen for the rest of our meal. Fortunately they had prepared 3 trays of fried eggs with one strip of bacon on them before... More

We have never stayed here overnight, but we've been here on several occasions mainly because it is the only EV charge station between Lakselv and Alta. The staff is always very welcoming, and it is a very scenic location. When using our EV, we always travel from Lakselv early enough so that we can buy breakfast at the hotel. Today... More

We were on our way to the Nordkapp by motorcycle and were looking for a place within round trip driving distance. Hotel Skaidi in Kvalsund NOR fit the bill - and much more. The people running the place were very friendly and extremely efficient, the accommodation very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The indoor pool and sauna provided a welcome... More

The rooms are decent having in consideration the price paid. However staff could be more helpful and there is not much to do in the surroundings. At least we asked to the staff and they could not help us. Except skiing of course. Views from the room are amazing though.

Absolutly worth to go and stay. We stayed 3 days/2 nights only, had no more time, but next time we check in we would like to stay a least one week. Very nice looking hotel from the outside and warm and cosy ambiente inside. Very friendly stuff. The hotel rooms nice and very clean. Spa area just right. A lovely... More

On our journey this hotel was ideally located transportwise. A little expensive, but the pool made it worth its money. From the hotel you can easily go trekking, right from the doorstep. The river right across the road probably have good fishing opportunities. Just passing by, we were not able to try those activities. Breakfast was average. The pool was... More

Two stars for the nice small swimming pool in the basement. But otherwise: Bad experience. Here goes: The entrance area is shabby, dirty and used for storage of linen in big carts. Reception staff: Dont understand danish (which in the Scandinavian countries is to be expected of reception staff), unfriendly and without any kind of warmth. Were not able to... More

We made a reservation to the hotel many weeks in advance and when we arrive they say that they can't find our reservation (through Hotels.com). They also started saying that they don't have an agreement with Hotels.com, yet you can find the hotel there with available rooms. Very hostile lady in the reception and didn't even want to try to... We stayed there for a week. The staff was very friendly and helpful, speaking several languages. The hotel itself is beautiful, nice lobby, made of wood, godd atmosphere, tidy. When there were many people it was rather noisy, also in the rooms The food is improvable. Breakfest was not fresh, dinner was a buffet, but the food not very good.

We've been at the Skaidi Hotel in June 2014. When we arrived the parking was desolated and messy. There was only 1 car, an old Russian one. Because this hotel was a part of our roadtrip we decided to give it a chance. In the lobby there was a woman behind the desk. Allthough I speak several languages, I couldn't... More
