Booked her to attend a wedding on the island. Stayed in room 6. Older hotel but did the job. Room had a housekeeping unit which was a surprise. Other details of the room are in other reviews. We found a little place just down the road Camiel's for coffee and a lovely little restaurant in Richard's landing. We had a...

This was our second trip to the island and first visit to the Clansmen. We booked two nights as it was the only place in Richard's Landing. We were not disappointed! Theresa, one of the owners greeted us with a friendly smile and great sense of humor. They still use the old method of using a credit card. Swiping it...

Stayed here in fall. An older facility, well kept and clean. Large spacious rooms fully equipped- fridge, toaster, coffee maker, counter top stove, toaster, dishes, table and chairs, sofa. Even have a candle with matches for atmosphere. Also have a razor in the bathroom. Hair dryer available at the office. Family owners live beside this quiet, rural motel. Would recommend...

Stayed at the motel for 2nd to 6th August to participate in a Diamond wedding celebration. In every respect the motel met our expectation. Situated within walking distance to the local municipal center combined with being a peaceful place to spend the nights St Joseps Island has an excellent golf course

We stayed at The Clansman while on a motorcycle trip, starting from Minden ON ,travelling to Tobermory and eventually to Wawa. This hotel was one of our favourite spots on the trip. Very reasonable (unlike the Tobermory area !) quiet, and within walking distance to two excellent restaurants.

Stayed here for a trip to do the St Joe's triathlon. The room was spacious and well kept which made it easy to keep my bike and triathlon gear in the room and organize for the race. It also had all amenities you might want to use. The location was a little further from the site of the race than...

We were happy to have been able to find accommodation so close to the start line of the St. Joe's triathlon. At $79/ night for a queen with a kitchen we were very pleased with the price. Our room included a small table, stove top, microwave, sink, dishes, etc. The room had a large window and a back door facing...

This motel is functional, and due to the lack of accommodation on the Island, it gets by with a ready market. The hosts were accommodating and friendly. Our kids loved the pool and we appreciated having towels provided. The rooms need updating but were clean. The bathtub drain did not work well, so a shower became a bath up to...

I've stayed here a few times over the years, since When Ann's Cafe was in business , that place made probably the worlds best french toast....and you'd want to comeback the next day to take another whack at it so...Why not stay on the island. The motel it self is small , just one row of rooms and gets some...
