My long term partner and I decided to finally ‘tie the knot’ after being together for 40 years and chose Stower Grange as our venue. We were not disappointed! Richard and his team could not have done more to make our special occasion perfect! Every staff member went above and beyond to make the day as stress free as possible, even to the point of ensuring we had music in all the appropriate places throughout the ceremony itself. The rooms were comfortable and inviting, the service excellent and the food totally delicious. This is not the only visit we will be making to this hotel, thank you so very much Richard and your excellent team.
Hotel is in a good location, easy enough to get into Norwich , or get to interesting areas around Norwich. Comfortable with a nice traditional feel, Richard and staff are great and always make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are comfortable and love the idea of naming rooms after herbs rather than numbers....Rosemary, Chervil etc . Good food available in restaurant and breakfast ( cooked individually to order )is especially good. Stayed 3/4 times now and held son's wedding reception here in October 2020, never been disappointed and would definitely recommend to anybody.
We stayed four nights having chosen the hotel because of its reputation for excellent food. We were not disappointed. Stower Grange is a quaint, charming and friendly hotel with outstanding cuisine. It has a slight 'another age' feel about it but that really appealed to us. We would definitely go back and heartily recommend Stower Grange to others. It is also handily placed for Norwich Airport.
We stayed for a three night mid-week break as we were visiting family in the area. We are very familiar with the Stower Grange, as we have been to many family occasions over the past forty years. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and everything from the friendly welcome, to the comfortable room and delicious food did not disappoint. We highly recommend this hotel.
We have just returned from a two day stay at the delightful Stower Grange Hotel, and I must admit to being a bit skeptical about all the rave reviews on here - but we needn't have worried. From the moment Richard met us at the door, nothing was too much trouble to make us feel welcome and at home. This really is a hidden gem worth seeking out - and you will never want to stay at a bland, bog standard hotel chain again. Its décor maybe a little tired but it is a homely hotel will character, everything is comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was very peaceful, no noise from the road and we didn't hear any other guests moving around. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and the food was excellent - as was the freshly cooked full English breakfast in the morning, probably the best I've had in a very long time. A special mention for Hayley & Lindsey, who always welcomed us with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. A credit to Richard and the hotel. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone looking to stay in or around Norwich - a great base for exploring the Norfolk Broads and surrounding areas.…
