My wife and I booked 9 nights at the Sun Island Resort and Spa for our honeymoon. Although there are improvement areas for our visit it was one of our best trips we made after 11 years together. The Island The resort is the whole island which takes about 45 min to walk around. Villas are located towards the beaches...

Lovely nature, serene resort, nice staff, great snorkelling and diving spots, good food, plenty of things to do on such a small island. We watched the sharks getting fed, the sting-rays also, amazing peaceful creatures, these activities encouraged me to snorkel though I was previously afraid of doing it, because of the sharks.I recommend the snorkelling spot at the Italian...

We were there 9 days over the Christmas break. We had superior beach bungalow and AI meal plan. I recommend All Inclusive because drinks and spirits are very expensive ! In our case we used AI plan to maximum :). They have special AI menu. But in AI menu you have whisky Johny Walker Black Label as a standard, beer...

I stayed here for two days. Initially, booked a Beach Room, it was good and clean. I slept like a baby that night followed by a tiring flight, but when I woke up in the morning, there were huge ants all over my room floor, and also in the bathroom floor, bathtub and on the sink. There is probably very...

We just came back from the Maldives. We stayed for 10 days at the Sun Island Resort, over the Christmas break. We had a great time, the resort delivers what it promises. We were on half-pension, breakfast was plenty and choices were great. We had breakfast and dinner at the Southern Star Restaurant every day. We are on a special diet...

After thinking about some winter sun and a slightly spontaneous decision to go to the Maldives, we were all booked for Sun Island for Christmas. We had 8 nights and it looked the best match for our needs out of quite a big variety of choices. We wanted something that looked like paradise, with white sands, crystal blue waters, a...

I can only say that this resort is out of this world. We didn't opt for the apartment on stilts, our beach bungalow looked out to the sea which was amazing. My wife and I have always wanted to see a turtle and we did just off the pier. Sharks on one side of the island at night for feeding....

Staff helpful, island was beautiful, food was very nice stayed for 3 weeks just on end of rainy season so occasional tropical storms but only lasting 5 to 10 mins. Didn't snorkel much but reef wasn't very good bleached. Accommodation needs updating. My advice would be only go all inclusive as very expensive cup of tea $6 hot dog €17...

We had hard time to decide on which resort to finalize, but our choice of "Sun Island Resort and SPA" was perfectly right for 6 days. The resort is the biggest island resort in Maldives. You will not feel bored as this resort has a nice green belt which can be explored, the best part we like was the tip...
