I can't say enough good things about Chalet Hibou and it's hosts, Kim and Graham. They have done an amazing job from top to bottom. No detail has been overlooked. It is a testament to the fact that you can have a beautiful stay in an amazing location and still set yourself miles apart with an amazing staff and wonderful service. One service they provide is a chauffeur service to Saint Martin de Belleville in the morning whenever you are ready to hit the slopes. Also to add to this there was never any trouble when we asked to be pick up after a hard day on the slopes. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel special, they did everything they could to make all six of us feel welcome. Even though it’s was only for 1 week, both Kim and Graham made us all feel like we were all part of the family.

The rooms are comfortable and incredibly well designed. Every room has its own ensuite and most of the rooms have amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The food everyday was outstanding whether it was the breakfast, afternoon tea or the cheese after the 3 course evening meal even the bananas!

As I said, I cannot say enough and could go on forever. But the bottom line - I recommend this chalet without reservation...to anyone...go as much as you possibly can. Also one final thanks to Kim and Graham for an amazing time from Ryan.

We had a very relaxing journey on Eurostar direct from St Pancras to Moutiers where we were picked up by Graeme. Arrived in the chalet just after 7pm to a very warm welcome from Kim. What a beautiful chalet, Graeme & Kim are exceptional hosts nothing was too much trouble. My husband is a Coeliac & therefore requires a Gluten free diet which was very well catered for by Kim. He had homemade cakes every day, better than he gets at home! Great food, didn't bother with lunch a couple of days after substantial breakfasts & also wanted to make the most of the afternoon tea & cakes. Pre-dinner drinks, 3 course meal with excellent free flowing wine & cheese & port to finish if you had room. Excellent chalet & hosts. Hope to return in the future.

Clever TripAdvisor, how did it know I had been here? Just came up in newsletter from them!! We travelled with another couple who had been clients of Kim and Graeme at a previous chalet. We took the Eurostar and Graeme met us at Moutiers station so only a half hour drive up the mountain - so civilised! Lots of hard work has gone into creating a beautiful chalet with lots of thoughtful touches. A lovely week of good food, excellent wine and fun company. Shame about the weather - closed in completely on two days with extremely high winds - but no-one can control that! At the end of the day - fun in the hot tub in the snow!!

What can I say. Kim and Graeme are fantastically perfect hosts. The chalet is beautiful and very clean. Graeme provides a great chauffeur service to the slopes, apres etc. Kim’s cooking is fantastic and she catered for our daughters vegan diet better than I do at home! They really are outstanding hosts and even bought us Christmas gifts. Everything is thought about and it made our first family skiing/chalet holiday exceptional. We would be hard pushed to get this kind of service in a 5 star hotel. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.

Our group of 4 stayed here for a week in January.  The hosts, Kim & Graham are great, so welcoming & hospitable. The chalet is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The living area on the top floor has big comfy sofas & a log burner. Pre-dinner drinks & nibbles and after dinner cheese board & drinks were served here. The bedrooms are fabulous, spacious enough with beautiful bathrooms. The food was delicious and there was plenty of choice for breakfast, both hot and cold options. The cake and coffee on returning from the slopes were always a welcome treat. There are 3 courses for dinner with endless supplies of wine, then cheese & port after. We really couldn’t have wanted for anything. The hot tub has great views of the mountain and will fit around 6 people. The location is good, a 10 minute ride to & from the lifts, whenever needed. We really loved the Belleville ski area and the 3 valleys area is vast, there is so much great terrain to explore. We would definitely stay here again!

This must be at least the fifth time we have visited Graeme and Kim and despite thinking each year that it can't get any better it just seems to! This is the second season that we have been incredibly privileged to say in this beautiful chalet that they have lovingly created. I can't say that we were not slightly hesitant when they moved here because of not being able to walk to the lifts but in fact being driven to within 50meters of the bubble up and then collected at what ever time suits at the end of the day is pure luxury and much nicer than trudging to the lifts! The food is amazing and Kim and Graeme go out of their way to give everyone exactly what they like however fussy they are! We sat in the hot tub after an brilliant day of skiing watching the deer having their supper on the nearby mountain side. Nothing could beat it! Anyway there is no doubt we will return because there is not any chance that we could find somewhere better or with nicer hosts. Thank you Kim and Graeme for another exceptional holiday.

We spent a week at Chalet Hibou and had one of the most delightful skiing holidays ever. Kim and Graeme who own and run the chalet worked tirelessly to make our holiday as enjoyable and stress free as possible. The chalet is really lovely with comfortable rooms, modern en-suites, a delightful top floor lounge where we enjoyed pre dinner drinks and post dinner cheeseboard. The kitchen / diner is the focal point and the smell of freshly baked croissants and bacon wafting upstairs in the morning meant coming down for breakfast a delight. When returning from a day on the slopes, there was delicious home made cake and tea followed by a relaxing spell in the hot tub to ease those tired legs. Dinner was always truly delicious. Kim is a whizz in the kitchen and prepares really delicious meals without any fuss. Kim and Graeme made us feel like welcome guests from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Graeme drove us up to the lifts each day and helped us with our skis and a quick text to him 15 mins beforehand meant he was there waiting for us at the end of each day. Together, they could not have done any more to make our stay special and they truly made us feel like welcome guests in their home and not just customers. Chalet Hibou is a jewel in the Alps. Just a few minutes from the centre of lovely St Martin de Belleville, the chalet is perfectly located and a welcome quiet haven after a busy day in the 3 valleys. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you Kim and Graeme for giving us such a wonderful holiday to treasure and spoiling us rotten - we can’t wait to return.

Chalet Hibou is quiet and peaceful, spotlessly clean, beautifully stylish and very comfortable, warm and cosy. It is also very well organised with much thoughtful attention to detail. We were an adult family group of skiers and non-skiers staying for a week over Christmas and we all enjoyed a fabulous break. Our hardworking, experienced and cheerful hosts, Kim and Graeme, could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable and their tireless hosting and taxi service in and out of St Martin was much appreciated. The food was plentiful, beautifully cooked and presented, and the copious wines delicious. We enjoyed generous aperitifs, digestifs and cheese platters in the stunningly elegant living area with its fabulous views, sparkling Christmas tree, roaring log burner and music player and TV. The skiers enjoyed roaming widely between resorts and non-skiers were bold enough, with Graeme and Kim’s help, to venture high up on the ski lifts above and between resorts, and to walk in and around pretty St Martin. Christmas Eve in the village was memorable with torchlight skiers and free vin chaud and hot chocolate. Our very generous traditional Christmas meal at the chalet was delicious and so relaxing. We were able to spend the rest of the day playing a hilarious and lengthy game of Monopoly! Thank you so much Graeme and Kim for such a wonderful and memorable Christmas holiday and for all your kindness and hard work. We hope to see you again!

We stayed at Chalet Hibou in January 2018. This is a beautiful, newly renovated farmhouse. Kim and Graeme have thought of everything for their guests! The bedrooms are big, lovely and so comfortable with high end linens, when you climb into bed it's like being hugged. The food is wonderful and served in the beautifully restored vout. There is literally nothing missing from this chalet. Graeme provides chaffeur service to the piste everyday and will take you to hit all the local apres. The chalet is a little remote but we walked less getting to and from the lifts staying here than we have on ski holidays previously. Thoroughly recommended, you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to visit again!

Another amazing holiday with Kim and Graeme, this time in their new abode, Chalet Hibou which is stunning! The entire place is tastefully and beautifully newly decorated. All of the rooms have lovely ensuites. The lounge area is gorgeous and gives amazing views over the local mountain range, which can also be appreciated from the hot tub! The place itself is amazing but what really makes it special is Kim and Graeme’s attention to outstanding service. The food is unbelievable! Both my partner and I have had to loosen the belt clip by a notch following the constant flow of homemade cakes, cooked breakfasts, 3 amazing courses for dinner followed by the cheese ! Kim really is an excellent cook who can cater for all palates (my other half is a veggie and she was in food heaven). The service is brilliant too, don’t be put off by having to get the mini bus to the slopes, it takes a couple of minutes and Graeme is always around to pick you up when need be. He shows you around the ski shops and lift pass place on day one just to make sure you feel comfortable on your first day. The skiing as always was great, the 3 Valleys is amazing and I got to explore St Martin which I’ve never done before but has some lovely runs (try the liberty if you like off piste!). A brilliant holiday ... thanks Kim and Graeme for another awesome trip.
