I've stayed a long weekend at Cedar Grove Cottages the last three years in a row, and I will continue to go at least once a year for the foreseeable future. The atmosphere is amazing, welcoming and friendly. The view is incredible, from sunrise to sunset. It's quiet, relaxing, and outside of the hustle and bustle - and yet it's...

Don't expect the bells and whistles, but for a long weekend or full week at the cottage that won't break the bank, this was excellent. Superb location really central on the peninsula allows easy access to everything we wanted to see, cruises to flowerpot island, hiking in the the national park, or just barbecuing on the beach in front of...

Our family loves our stay. Friendly staff and beautiful beach and playground for the kids. Cottages with all the conveniences of home and a wonderful view of the lake. Rented a boat and it did not disappoint. Pet friendly as well A wonderful place to stay just outside of tobermory so you can avoid the tourists.

We rented a kayak just for a few hours and the service here was great! No complaints whatsoever, beautiful quiet lake! Staff was helpful and quick to assist, he taught us how to use the kayak. The prices are very reasonable for rentals

My husband and I and our three-year old daughter stayed here for a week at the end of July and we had a wonderful time. The resort is only 10 minutes outside of Tobermory and really close to all the sights like the Grotto, Singing Sands, and the ferry that goes to Flowerpot Island. It's on a very sheltered part...

Very well located, close to lots of sights and Tobermory, quiet even though highway is close. Cottages very clean, well equipped and all are either on water or within steps of the beach. Lake is clean, sand bottom, great for children, nice playground and watersports. No problems at all and worth staying.

I got a chance to visit Tobermory this June (2016). There were a total of 3 families and a single me ;) This was my first time, though my other friends have been visiting this place (cedar grove) for past 3 consecutive years. We stayed here for 3 nights. This is an amazing lake side cottage place with private access...

Amazing view of the lake. Very family oriented, has a playground, water very shallow. Very close to the national park and tobermory downtown. New owner is very nice. Came here with our 10months old and enjoyed our stay. New BBqs, place very clean.

My wife, son, and I stayed here for 2 nights in June and my only regret is we didn't stay longer. We stayed in Cottage number 3 which faces directly onto the lake and was fantastic. Very well appointed, comfortable and clean. The lake itself is clear, pretty shallow for about 30-40 metres and not particularly cold despite it still...

Our family (including our dog) spent the Victoria day long weekend at Cedar Grove cottage one. The cottage is well maintained, fully equipped and clean. There's plenty of room for the kids to roam. The kids had a fantastic time playing in the beach, playground, and with the kids from other cottagers. We couldn't ask for a better weather. The...
