We went to the Tzoumerka mountains for some trekking and to check up on some old friends. Xenion is peaceful, the staff is very polite and did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our room overlooked the Strongoula peak as well as the pool. Overall, we had a great stay but there were a few issues. Firstly, the kitchenette does not work. Secondly, the previous guests of our room had apparently heated milk in the kettle and the cleaners didn't take notice so it wasn't cleaned. As a result, there was a sour smell which took me a while to trace to the kettle. Lastly, the curtains didn't do a good job to block out the sunlight so we woke up every morning at sunrise.

We absolutely loved it. Very clean and the staff very friendly. The pool was very clean. Great breakfast with traditional Greek local food, ask them to cook for you. Dinner was delicious, used local meat. George Merantzas the owner has an amazing voice, make him sing for you. It was worth the drive in the mountains.

I visited the hotel with my husband and my 21-month-old daughter in April 2016, a week before the Easter holidays, for a few days. Although we had visited Tzoumerka before, it was the first time we stayed at Ξενειον which proved to be an awesome place to stay! We liked everything about this hotel! Its architecture, its location and the fantastic view it offers. The rooms were super cozy and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Natasha, the girl running the hotel, was the one who made our stay truly enjoyable and unforgettable! She is one of the most kind, warm, friendly, smart and funny people we’ve met!! She was very helpful and accommodating the whole time providing us with everything we needed. She is also an excellent cook! Every morning she turned breakfast into a feast with delicious food including cheese pies that had just come out of the oven!!She even prepared special meals for our little daughter who loved both her meals and Natasha! All of us just loved Natasha and hope to visit the hotel again soon!!!!

A small hotel located near pramanta in Tzoumerka region. Rooms were spacious with a view of the mountains. Nice beds, small kitchenette. Breakfast was homemade. All kinds of coffees were included in breakfast. Asides the above, the competitive advantage of this hotel is the staff and owner's hospitality. They are very helpfull and accomodating. If you are looking for a hotel in rhe region, it is the place to be.

We made a tour through northern Greece and stayed two nights in Pramanta a the Xenion hotel! The hotel, the service, the friendliness, the pool area, the nature, the impressive mountains all around etc, it was all absolutely great! Go visit the Kypina monastery in the area which is so beautiful ang go rafting on the Araxtos river. WOW, what an experience, the nature is simply astonishing! Thanks to Natasha and the other caretakers, who made us feel at home ! We definitely want to come back one day!

Last summer me and my family decided to go for an alternative holiday and we chose the region of South Pindos. We booked by chance a nice family room at Xenion in Pramanta (Tzoumerka).. We totally loved it! It is a cozy and home feeling guesthouse with few rooms but large outdoor spaces. There is even a swimming pool, a pool bar, a barbecue and all of these just a breath away from the amazing pine forest. Home made breakfast with fresh jams, bread and traditional Greek pies made by Natasa's hands! Big family table unites all guests together and Giorgos (Merantzas) advises about places to visit and activities to do (you can go canoe/kayak on Arachthos river). He even sings during suppers :) Definitely a guesthouse to recommend!!

We found this hotel by accident while we were exploring Tzumerka, what a find ! It is cradled among the mountains of Tzumerka , stepping outside to the beautiful pool is magical. We were the only people staying and so were not expecting much for breakfast, how wrong we were, Anasticia the manageress had laid out a most wonderful spread including a delicious local cheese pie , she even persuaded me to try trahana soupa which was delicious. She will cook dinner if it is ordered the day before ...It would be worth going back for ! As the tavernas in Pramanta were not very inviting this would be a very good option. The hotel is mostly visited by Greeks at the weekend, I cannot understand why foreigners haven,t discovered this gem. I think that we were the first foreign visitors to stay there I certainly hope that we won't be the last.
