I have stayed, on different occasions, in most of the hotels of this quality in Pakse and the Arawan Riverside offers the best facilities and value for your money. This well constructed hotel located within easy access to Pakse town centre overlooks and provides excellent scenic views of the Mekong river. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, breakfast is...

You will have a nice view over the mekong river , thats all, Youare really far out from city center and there is just nothing around. The room itself is ok, but bathroom is outdated and dirty. Internet works but not good. And braekfast is a nightmare. We asked for green Tea and got a green fluid cold and ugly....

On a business trip in this province, I spent one night in the Arawan Riverside Hotel. No need to say that I didn't enjoy the well located swimming pool (but the water was not clear), as I was very busy. The hotel is really huge, and the feeling is strange as there were very few guests. But the room was...

This is basically an average hotel, but it had some surprising extras, such as the Chinese New Year display, the lovely Indian-style floral arrangement near the elevator, and an omelet chef. The gourmet restaurant is much better than the other one.

Appears this hotel is too big for staff to maintain. Everything was a bit run down, definitely would not use the pool. There was an issue with making a payment on the room as the credit card machine was not working. Breakfast was poor. Location is not the best either, a bit too far out of town. Wifi was good...

I stayed at this hotel with a small group of friends for one night. Our group had booked for two night, the second after an two day adventure tour, however after the first night experience we decided to cancel the second night and choose a similarly priced higher quality hotel down the road. Firstly the hotel room was dirty, mouldy...

Arawan riverside is the worst hotel i've ever visited. The service is horrible. Nobody speaks a word english, and the wifi NEVER works; you have to call the reception 20 times before they try to fix it. Breakfest is an EMBARASSMENT! There's lots of asian food, but for western people there's only tasteless, sticky toast and some jam. The girls...

This hotel was clean with big rooms, but had zero atmosphere and was far away from the main centre. The pool area is horrible, with a clean pool in a big concrete area with a few lonely wooden chairs and old, broken, rusty metal structures lying around. Definitely stay somewhere closer to the centre!

After returning from the motor bike trip to the Bolaven plateau, we stayed two nights at this hotel. We liked: - the large rooms - Wonderful view over the Mekong - good and reliable AC We saw as improvement potential: - the bar by the pool seems to endorse veeery loud music all day long - breakfast is mainly for...
