We were visiting Pakse to see our son who lives in Laos full time. This hotel was recommended by him. Our son speaks fluent Lao so we were able to communicate with the staff otherwise I think we would have had a difficult time communicating in English with them. Our son speaks Lao so we had extra help when needed. We had local friends who took us to the sights in the area. Our room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was clean...

It's a very ancient slow elevator ride so took the stairs and got some exercise. The room itself was big, bathroom was clean. However there was an enduring smell, the kind you get when...
