I was surprised to read the other reviews on Trip Advisor as we had a very good experience in this guesthouse. The rooms are clean and cheap, but you don't have a private bathroom. Although the guesthouse was fully booked (6 rooms or so), the 2 bathrooms were never occupied. The wifi was the fastest we had in Laos. Most...

I know, I know, it's stupid to leave money/valuables in your room but this is my 7th week in SE Asia and I've left money before without any probelems. I was traveling alone and staying in a private room, was assured I was the only one with a key. Earlier in the morning I was at an interet cafe and...

The room wasn't too bad - the beds were pretty comfy, bathroom cleaned and the fan worked. WiFi worked well too. The staff was very rude though and did not speak any English. As a result they wouldn't almost do anything you requested.

We only stayed here because it was the only place where we were able to wake up the guard. We arrived in Pakse at 1 am... Terrible beds, room and bathroom were dirty. We paid 60.000 which is not much, but still. For this price you will find a lot better in Pakse!
