If you get one of the rooms with a private bathroom inside the room and it has a bathtub like my room did then I would say that you are doing pretty good. This place rents by the room, not per person which can be nice if you have a few people in your group. One room has 3 beds... More

Currently backpacking, and expected a basic double room for the cheap price. Reception kept pushing back the time to check into our room and spoke little English which was not helpful with a very sick boyfriend! We had poor wifi coverage, contended with 2 ugly cockroaches in the bathroom and a mouldy fridge. Rated 2 stars as the price did... More

Found this guesthouse after wandering around and seeing 5 other crummy places. It is run by Vietnamese and you enter through the restaurant on Rte 13 the main drag in Pakse Stayed in a large room on 2nd floor, big window with lots of natural light and good ventilation. Bed was OK not too hard, large bathroom with good hot... More

I ended up in this place as my nearby first choices were all full. The room I stayed in, with high ceilings and painted in stark white and dark red, felt a bit industrial. Not the nicest place to hang out, but good enough to sleep in.

Stayed here before and after a trekking, each time we had a spacious and clean double room with AC (with an extra bed). Good double bed, comfortable mattress. Very good wifi. Cleaned every day, you get water and towels. Not much to complain about really. Don't expect much interaction with the staff though, and the restaurant is not a place... More

We originally tried to check in down the street at Pakse Royal Hotel but they didn't have space for the three of us. She walked us down to their "other" hotel, Vilaysingh. We walked in and no one was willing to greet us or inquire what we wanted (a room). We eventually got the the attention of the front desk... More

We walked into this place after we were dropped of at 13th Street by a tuktuk. We got a double room with AC and hot shower for 100.000 LAK - decent compared to your online options for Pakse - and stayed for two nights. The room was spacious and clean. The bed had a comfortable mattress, however no top sheet,... More

This guesthouse is probably the worst place we have stayed at in Asia so far. It was dirty, untidy, smelly and there were ants living in the mattress. Amazingly we bumped into the couple who have commented below in Siem Reap and have spent our morning laughing and joking about the squalor. Don't go here.

We booked and on arrival 2 people asleep in reception. Eventually woke one. In the photo, reception had table and chairs and looked like a communal area. In reality it was filthy and full of rubbish. Shown to room and he immediately rushed to open balcony window-it smelt bad. Huge room 3 beds and the only one we could sleep... More

I stayed here on my return visit to Pakse after staying at the owner's other property (Pakse Royal Palace) prior to my trek. This property is much larger, cleaner and has a popular restaurant downstairs. They offer large rooms with A/C for $10 or you can get a room that has been partioned off to make two rooms and a...
