Emi Seaside, a family-owned apartotel located in front of the Blue Flag beach of Ammoudara, offers direct access to the private area on the beach with loungers and parasols and a deck with sofas to enjoy your drink or snack. For guests who prefer a more relaxed stay, there is a pool sized 3x8 metres complete with sunbeds, the perfect spot for enjoying a refreshing cocktail or a locally produced ice cream. Where do I’m I start? What an incredible week we have just spent in EMI Seaside. A massive thank you to George, his family and small team, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. This is a wonderful small, family run, beachside hotel a few miles from Herelakalion. We booked a sea view room which had a massive wraparound balcony. The room was spotlessly clean with a kettle, safe, USB sockets and a great shower. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels supplied if required. Beach towels were also supplied. The beach was just a few steps away, with plenty of sun loungers, all with umbrellas and tables. Drinks and food orders were taken from the beach and poolside and delivered to our sunbed. Breakfast was plentiful, selection of breads, pastries, cheeses, fruit, cereals, meat and yogurt, with coffee and a variety of teas. We didn’t eat lunch at EMI Seaside, but it looked gorgeous. The bus stop was minutes away from the hotel and regular buses run to Herakalion and the airport. We ate in one of the many restaurants , all within a 10-15 min walk of the hotel. Also, many supermarket are within a stones throw. The thing that made this holiday so special is George, his family and his team. They were all amazing, warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Excellent family run hotel. Staff so welcoming and attentive. Excellent very spacious room, good breakfast and cold beer on the beach in the sun. Highly recommended and perfect for relaxing and good time of year to go with excellent local tavernas

Excellent family run small hotel. Very clean, direct access to the beach, with shadowed tables and long chairs with umbrellas (free for hotel guests) with wifi access. Very clean, discrete staff, very friendly. Small pool. Very good, nutritious breakfast (included). Well worth the very reasonable price. Gave good restaurant and sightseeing tips. Good connection to Heraklion by bus. They organize a reliable taxi from and to the airport. Good communications, very competent and responsive. Will go back there anytime.

Couldn't fault this hotel, George and his family are so welcoming and will do anything for you, food was amazing and so were the cocktails & Prosecco :) I went solo although met up with some friends who also stayed at hotel, its very safe and i would recommend to anyone who fancies holidaying alone Will definately be going back again in 2023 Thanks George for the best holiday

Great convenient location on a fabulous beach in a suburb of Heraklion this is a gem of a hotel. It is family run with Mr George being an outstanding caring and personal host. The staff and family really care for their guests and nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel and rooms are simple but well laid out and are spotlessly clean. The food and drink are very good and served both in the hotel and onto the beach. Beach umbrellas, beds, and towels are free of charge and just a 50 metre walk from the hotel. The overall value is excellent.

The entire staff / owners were incredibly friendly. The location is fantastic - walk through the pool area and you are in the beach! The apartments own that part of the beach, so we always managed to get a sunbed. The staff will also bring you drinks and food (to the beach or your bed by the pool). We ate lunch here pretty much everyday for our 11 night stay. The food was lovely, and reasonably priced too. The drinks & cocktails are also very reasonable (and delicious!). The rooms are fairly basic, but there is a flatscreen TV, safety deposit box, kettle and fridge (& a small hob, but we didn't use it). The rooms are very clean. The bathroom is on the small side, but the shower was powerful enough for me to wash my hair! Location wise, there is a good selection of restaurants very local to the apartments. 5 -10 minutes walk. And a supermarket 1 minute away. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend …

Wonderful experience, better than expected. The rooms are basic, anticipated for a 3* Hotel, but very clean and comfortable; owner and staff pay great attention to detail when it comes to cleanness. Breakfast was authentic and of high-quality ingredients, happy for choosing and including it in my package. I also very much enjoyed their club sandwich and fresh local draft beer, while relaxing at the pool or beach under their own umbrellas and sunbeds at no additional cost. Location is perfect, in front of the beach, near shops, bars / other restaurants, and only under 10 minutes from Heraklion center and port; the airport was not far either. My family and I stayed in this hotel, and had nothing but wonderful things to say about it. The staff was extremely generous and welcomed us with open arms! The rooms were spotless, and we had a beautiful view of the beach from our balcony. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting and looking for a place to stay in Crete!
