This is probably one of the most remote hotel properties I have ever stayed at. The road construction on the access to the village and hotel made it even more difficult to access. But it was worth the visit. The hotel is made of a few farm homes located on the outskirts of a small village, and you often cross...

Spent a few days here after travelling from Lijiang and Tiger Leaping Gorge and I was so impressed. First of all by the welcome and then the gorgeous old wooden lobby that just felt so cosy and warm after a long days hiking. We were then shown to our rooms which are once again so warm and cosy. They gorgeous...

We stayed at the Ringo to settle down and acclimatise on the way to Tiger Leaping Gorge and the Meili Mountains. It was a good choice. The Dinner Joe Yang arranged for us was terrific and very memorable; the views and local walks were also helpful.

very nice stuff, perfect view, nice breakfast, after visiting Songzanling Lamasery, we stay here just for relax, a terrace is facing the Ringha river valley and the view is great, since our friends invited us to have dinner in the town, we missed the SPA and yark hot pot.

This is our second stay in two years, and we were as delighted this time as during our first visit. The hotel location in a valley close to Tibetan villages is ideal to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the scenery and the friendliness of the local inhabitants. Still, Shangri-La city and its attractions are only 20 minutes away, over...

Simply stunning and faultless. A really authentic getaway from it all experience. The rooms and villas are authentic tibetian houses, really quirky! Certainly worth paying for a Villa, there is a central fire bowel in the living area, really adds to the experience.... the staff cannot do enough for you, it really is amazing, loved it and didn't want to...

A fabulous project, with each villa being a traditional Tibetan house being dismantled and then reassembled. Very thoughtfully appointed suites and bathrooms. Ours faced the farmlands framed by the nearby hills. The dining options may be limited but the breakfast menu was rotated while we were there. Explore the environs for the beauty of the untamed landscape.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, they served very fresh food (Yak meat YUM) and the hotel is very clean, modern, yet traditional. When I entered my room, it was breath taking. definitely should book this place when you are visiting Shangri-la.
