We visited for Sunday lunch. We received a warm welcome from the bar staff and lovely real ale and cider. We chose the mixed meat dinner, with lamb, beef and pork. There was a choice of rare or well done for the beef. I chose rare and it was gorgeous. My favourite was the belly pork, melting and so tasty....

Came with friends for Sunday lunch, good menu and all dishes chosen were well cooked. Meats and vegetables wonderful, roast potatoes out of this world best we've had in a restaurant for a very long time. Very nice puddings are not to missed. Comprehensive wine list. All in all a cracking meal, with delicious food. Give it a go.

Had a meal out with our Father in law. The food was excellent and we all enjoyed it. The service was excellent and the waiters couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely come another time. I chose steak asked for medium rare and that is exactly what I got. Cooked exactly as I asked.

Came here for a family Sunday lunch As there were 15 of we had to wait a while as we needed 2 tables. The 3 children were served first, which was a very good idea, and the adults meals were delicious. Everyone was happy, and would definitely go again.
