It is a nice house located on a nice spot.... BUT: the people were a little reluctant to help with baggage or information (except the owner). Breakfast was really slow. But quite worse our room (lavender) was dark and had a musty smell.

We had a lovely weekend staying at this beautiful guesthouse in pretty Ballito, despite the rain and cloudy skies. We loved our room and the lovely veranda, the charming bathroom (didn't care much for the impractical shower), the great breakfast and helpful staff. All very close to the beach- shame it wasn't beach weather though

Immaculately prepared with the utmost care, the Lavender Room provided the perfect break from a busy week. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there with a delicious breakfast and the convenience of a small kitchenette in the room. Thank you for this fantastic place that you've built up!

This is an immaculate boutique bed & breakfast. It is exceptionally clean and beautiful decorated. The breakfast is superb with plenty of choice. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Beach 5 minutes walk and only 20 minutes drive from King Shaka airport.

We'd been waiting a while to visit and decided to try this beautiful venue. It's really lovely as expected but unfortunately just let us down in terms of our welcoming.. An empty house.. And when we asked if we could have a drink, glass of wine, or an afternoon g&t, we were told to try somewhere else.. It just wasn't... More

My boyfriend and I stayed one night and we really loved it, you can see the owners have really made great efforts to decorate the place and it s lovely. Really loved the sumptuous breakfast as well! The location is really good as it s only 5min walk to the beach. A very very nice 'overnight stopover' on our way... More

We stayed here for one night on our way to Durban and wished we had spent more time. Lovely room with balcony (called the Rosaerie room) with the extra touch of having fresh milk in the fridge when we arrived in the afternoon! Beach is walking distance.

We passed through Salt Rock on our way to the Drakensberge and stayed one night at the Petite Provence. It really felt like a bit of mediterranean France in Africa, a nice change. The rooms were small but nice, having a glass of wine on the porch at treat, and the breakfast very good.
