This hotel should be the template for what all other holiday inn express should aspire to be. Well done to all concerned. Brilliant staff, clean and comfortable rooms, amazing breakfast spread. I was on a rewards night so parking was free. I think parking should be free for all residents that’s my only suggestion. Thanks

I would point out that all hotel guests benefit from discounted parking at the neighboring Cornwall Services and room rates that include parking are available to book online. If parking were to be made inclusive for all rooms it would actually push the room rate up for everyone (including those who come by coach, and those that have only one car but more than one room), which seems a tad unfair. The team in this hotel are the friendliest I’ve come across in a long long time. They could not have done more for us and our terrier. Our room had a dog bed and feeding bowls, and we were even given a mini fridge to keep the dog’s food cold. Food in the restaurant was basic but delicious, and the breakfast buffet is comprehensive. We were made to feel extremely welcome and we’ll definitely be back.

First time we have stayed here and what a fantastic few days we had. A great experience from start to finish. We were warmly greeted by Lily on our arrival and have to say every single member of staff was polite, respectful and so very helpful. Our room was just super, the food quality and choice was excellent. This Holiday Inn is run professionally to a very high standard and we will most certainly return. A big thank you to all of you.

This is simply the best Holiday Inn Express I've ever stayed at. Clean, crisp and the staff is super friendly. I was warmly greeted by Jo Jo who was super friendly and also helpful with directions and local attractions. It is staff like Jo Jo that simply made my trip so much more enjoyable. This place is run by sheer professionals!!!!! Nick the manager is doing a amazing job. Many thanks for a incredible stay!!!!!!! Highly reccomended

Easy check in. Family room was small but big enough for 1 night for 3 of us. Decided to eat evening meal at hotel, great food and good choice for breakfast. Soundproofing meant zero noise from the busy road and very little heard from other rooms. Excellent value. Surprised with a great view from room.

The name of the Express Holiday Inn Bodmin is misleading as this hotel will put full service Holiday Inns to shame. Every aspect of the hotel is of superior standard. When it comes to service optimization they clearly ticked all boxes Location : Don't let it's location at Cornwall Services put you off. This is not like one of those hotels located in Services just off highways. It is not a busy place but very clean. The services shops are a minute away and has everything you need. It has hairdressers outside and even a laundromat. It is has green surroundings with well maintained and expansive lawns so if you want to go for a morning walk with or without your pet it's a great place to be. Parking was around £6 and that's reasonable. We made the hotel as a base and visited Lands End which was only an hour away. The Sat Nav in the car wasn't exact by a little bit so Apple Maps or Google Maps were more accurate especially on return to the hotel. Pets: Was able to bring my pet dog and as the rooms were spacious enough the dog didnt feel cramped. There is an additional £20 added for cleaning which is understandable Hotel : It's a big property and nothing Expressy (small, cramped, limited) about it . It has a large restaurant, bar and a separate area if you want to eat with you pets Food : Breakfast and dinner was excellent. Again it wasn't one of those heat in the microwave type of places Service : Saved the best for last. The staff are clearly happy - so well done Management for creating that atmosphere. It was nice to see their personalities shine through and not bogged down by administrative tasks. Very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations of where to go , which we did and didnot regret. All in all this is a hotel worth staying at. Thank you!…

Walked in to a very clean tidy and welcoming reception, the lady that checked us in was so friendly and helpful giving us all the info we needed. Our room was absolutely spotless! The bed was so comfy and the pillows were perfect. We had the best nights sleep we’ve had in a while! Breakfast was lovely, and the man who was working on the bar was so friendly too! I will definitely be coming back next time I need to visit! Thanks to all the staff for a great job!

Had the pleasure to return to the Holiday Inn Express for business this past week. This is arguably the cleanest and best run Holiday Inn Express that I've ever stayed at and that includes sites abroad as well. Excellent hotel. Beautiful, modern and clean. However, the breakfast is poor. There are no vegetables. The scrambled eggs look whitish and taste awful. I’ve just learned from another review that the scrambled eggs are constructed in a factory and frozen. When delivered to the hotel they are thawed out and heated up before being given to the guests for breakfast. I find this unacceptable. The coffee also need improvement. The croissants are excellent and the Cumberland sausages are also good.
