We had booked two nights standard room in this hotel and when we arrived, there were no more standard room and they upgraded us. The room is very comfortable. The breakfast is very good, healthy and complete. The employees are kind and helpfull. And the view... Majestic! All ok.

I was pretty excited about staying right on the water for a couple of nights, as we toured Normandie. But this hotel was just brutal. Unlike some other reviews, I'm ok with the fact that the majority of the staff didn't speak english, that isn't a factor for me when I am travelling in countries with different native languages! Quick chekin and nice view over the garden. If you need a good place to stay in northern France. It is very close to England by ferry if you have time to visit the good old England. Rooms are good size and relatively nice for a mid range European hotel

The hotel is located about 20 minutes drive from the Portsmouth - Caen ferry terminal. We arrived late evening (ferry delay) but were still welcomed by the friendly staff. Judging by the temperature of the room (top floor) it had been very sunny that day but we had our own fan so we weren't bothered too much by the heat....

The room was okay as looked like it had been updated. Odd shower as couldn'the adjust it down. Lovely view though. Felt like a ghost town as nothing open even at the end of May. Six restaurants but only one open and found out by accident it was open. Restaurant at hotel wasn'the open in the evening either. Too main...

Swimming pool excellent but not as described, it's outdoor with cover not truly indoor. Rooms getting very tired. Disappointed to find no restaurant do had to hunt round where to eat no warning either. But great nights sleep in comftable beds. Internet impossible to use.

We stayed there 10 years ago and looked forward to going back. The view of the ocean and the location, with free parking is exceptional. Between 2004 and 2014 the place has gone radically downhill. Rooms are out of date, badly in need of repair and have become dreary. In our room the phone didn't work, so upon check in...

A good location on the seafront but I think its a 2/3 star hotel with 4 star prices Reception staff were very friendly and the restaurant /bar area was clean. Room was adequate but soiled carpets and second rate choice of tv channels were unwatchable.Stayed two nights but took breakfast and evening meals elsewhere. Stayed before in one of the...

The double room at about 100 and breakfast at about 12 euros overpriced the stay. The breakfast had no fruit salad. The room is fine and the view out the picture window to the sea was lovely but it is an older, rather tired hotel. If my memory is right it had no English speaking channels on TV. it has a...
