Vastergard is a lovely place. The conversion of an old barn as the main accomodation building is extremely tasteful. The rooms and en-suite are comfortable and some offer a nice private patio. The owners managed to strike a perfect balance between classic and modern furniture. We also had dinner there which was simply delicious. I believe that self-catering is also...

Thank you for visiting Västergård and welcome again. Full self catering is available in Flora suite and the other rooms have limited possibilities, i.e. access to fridge and barbecue.

I can only reiterate everything below. We stayed in a lovely large family room in the barn conversion. The conversion was very high standard. Fridges, kettles etc were all provided. Tom and his wife were very helpful and we even went for a row in their boat on the local lake. I would only add that you do need some...

We spent one lovely afternoon and night at B&B Vastergard, enjoying the sunny patio, quiet surroundings, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast. We appreciated having access to the fridge for our picnic supplies, and the lovely common rooms and free WiFi. Tom was a thoughtful and accommodating host. The room and bathroom were both large and immaculate, and there were screens...

We stayed here night 2 of a 3 day bicycle tour of the Turku Archipelago that the owner Tom organized for us. Wonderful accomodation in a peaceful rural setting. After a 60km ride, the hot-tub and dinner hit the spot, along with a great breakfast the next day. Much thought and effort have gone into making the barn a wonderful...

We stayed in Vastergard at the start and end of a bespoke cycle tour organised by the owner Tom Carling. The accommodation is in a converted barn with communal areas for he guests, a mezzanine with comfy sofas and beer and wine available on an honesty system (and at some of the best prices in Finland). The rooms are en-suite...

Lovely B&B accommodation in beautiful, idyllic surroundings. We cycled round the Turku Archipelago and this was an ideal stopping point. It was an 8km cycle to the nearest restaurant for dinner but it was worth it!
