Without any hesitation I'd recomend this charming little B&B to nature-lovers, people, who prefer welcoming atmosphere, 200% cleanness, personal attitude and the most tasty breakfasts. We stayed there for 9 lovely days. Every day started from a breakfast ritual, when Tomaso and Annelise presented us their masterpieses (home-made cakes, brownies, bread, fruit jellies, yoghurs and fruit, etc.) and after this we discussed our plans for the up-coming day (all the recomendations appeared to be real gems). As we do not like to stay only on the sea, we've tried to discover pearls of Le Marche according to the advices of our wonderful hosts and we've covered more than 1800 km on our car. Special thanks for the selection of restaurants for dinner - we still remember every place. The room is amazing - when you feel as if you're home and there is nothing more to dream about. Le Marche is a perfect reagion of Italy where everybody could get everything he wants - sea, sun, nature, charming little cities and fortresses, shopping and big towns with long and ineresting history. As there are so much things left for us to discover we wish to return and continue our investigation and of corse the only place to stay is Bed & Breakfast Il Melograno. Un abbraccio da noi e da San-Pietroburgo N&V

We were recommended to Il Melograno by friends of ours who live in the area. We were attending a wedding in the village and having a holiday at the same time. The standard of cleanliness was excellent and the room with en suite bathroom really good. Breakfast was an experience in itself, sitting outside in the garden eating home made or local produce was nothing less than perfect. Our hosts, Annelise & Tomas, were so attentive, friendly and helpful making our stay a fantastic experience. They are also a font of knowledge regarding the local area giving us many ideas of places to see and things to do. Once again Il Melograno thank you for making our 10 days with you unforgettable

After getting lost in Ancona, we eventually found this dream B & B with hosts Tomaso and Annelise soothing our nerves and making us so comfortable. Their home is full of beautiful things to look at and the food is devine. I now use the breakfast as a measure of all B & B's and over the years have not found one to match Annelise's home cooked, imaginitive food.

This is the 4th time we have been back to stay and it just gets better and better. Annelise and Tom are wonderful hosts we ate so many of Annelise's amazing cakes and jams at breakfast that we thought we would pop! Extremely comfortable beds with wonderful showers made for really good night sleep. We had a lot of fun exploring the area too - walks in the Sibellini hills are much to be recommended and only an hours drive away - a lovely little beach 10 mins down the road, great fish restaurants and as much art history and culture as you want in the towns and villages surrounding. Highly recommended we will definitely be going back next year!

We three ladies thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Tom and Annelise. Their accommodation is a newly converted old farmhouse and comprises four double bedrooms, each with its own air-conditioning and en-suite shower room. Everything is to the highest possible standard, including the breakfast. The only proviso being, no pool so not ideal for children. The garden was formerly a vineyard, is ablaze with flowers, they clearly have green fingers! I would recommend it to anybody.

We stayed for a week at this great B & B in early April and have nothing but praise for the way we were looked after. It made the perfect base for our touring of the local area and our hosts, Annelise and Tomaso, were very helpful when it came to advice on places of interest and restaurants to visit. The house is recently restored; therefore, the rooms are all newly fitted out. Furnishings are tasteful and the place is well maintained and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is a highlight and went well beyond our expectations; much of the food (preserves, breads, cakes, juices, etc) is home made by Annelise. Annelise and Tomaso, who both speak perfect English, were always most attentive as hosts and made every effort to help us feel at home. We would have no hesitation in recommending this place to any of our friends and cannot wait to return.

We stayed at Il Melograno in September 2007, the rooms were beautiful and the breakfasts were all home made and delicious, it was very sunny, so we were lucky enough to be able to eat outside under the shade of the trees. Annelise and Tomaso spoke perfect English and were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and the shower was lovely. The house is easy to find with private parking. The beach is only a 15 min drive. We hope to return for another wonderful holiday.

I spent a very enjoyable week in October at the B&B - which is easy to find being just off the main road. The room was spacious and tastefully furnished in country style and very clean. The bathroom was completely modern with a terrific shower. The couple who run the B&B are very friendly and helpful (they both speak perfect English, having lived in London for many years) and they provide fabulous breakfasts - homemade bread and jams, and cakes, yoghurt, etc. There is a communal room where breakfast is served, with comfortable chairs for reading or watching television, and there are tables and chairs outside too, where you can read a book or just laze about. The seaside is five minutes' drive away and even in October it was warm enough to swim and lie on the beach. You can come and go whenever you want - I thoroughly recommend it!

We stayed with our two young children - we were made to feel totaly welcome - the children wanted to move in permanently! Home cooked delicious breakfast, beautiful large, clean and perfetly decorated bedrooms, beautiful bathrooms - everything was the best it could be. We will be back anytime we can. Great value for money too. Every detail has been thought of by the owners. Also very good local knowledge - what's on etc. By far the best place we have stayed in ever.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely B&B for two nights. We called at the last minute to make a same-day reservation and were delighted that they had one room available (due to a last minute cancellation). Our stay was so wonderful that we found it very difficult to leave! It was by far the best place that we stayed in Italy. The B&B consists of three spacious rooms in a recently restored farm house. Each room has an amazing private bath complete with a jetted shower. The rooms are air conditioned and very comfortable with beautiful, new furnishings. There is a living room area that is open to guests with a TV and plenty of reading on the area. The highlight of the stay is definitely the hosts/owners. Tom and Annelise are a lovely Italian couple who recently moved back to Italy after spending many years working in England. They take wonderful care of you throughout your stay and are happy to help with travel suggestions, dinner reservations, translation, etc.! They even let us borrow their bikes for a ride into the nearby town. Second only to the hosts, breakfast was my next favorite part! Italy is not really known for its breakfast, so breakfast at Il Melograno was a wonderful surprise complete with homemade baked goods, jams, fruit, cereal, juices, tea, and coffee. We ate so much that we didn't have room for lunch on either of the days that we stayed. They have a lovely patio or can set you up at a table for two under the cherry tree if you'd like to eat outdoors. This was my fourth trip to Italy, and I would venture to say that it was the best place that I have stayed yet! It is located about 30 minutes from the larger city of Ascoli Piceno and is only ten minutes from the coast. You could spend days exploring the little hill towns of the area and absorbing the Marche culture. You also can't beat the value at 60-70E! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this B&B!
