Three of us went to this lovely restaurant without a reservation on a Friday night in early October, and we were shown to a table overlooking the estuary...which had it been light would have been magnificent. The flight up the steep granite stair case was a real challenge for me....but worth it once up there. The service was excellent, the...

This was rock bottom among all the hotels we’ve used in France over many years. We had a confirmed reservation months in advance for an estuary-view room. We arrived at 6:30 pm to find the hotel locked up tight, without a doorbell to push. We had to telephone the proprietor, who arrived 10 minutes later without any apology and assigned...

We went for an evening meal, staff were not welcoming, views excellent, but the steak was inedible , we would left sooner , but the chewing hampered our exit. The wrong sauce was given with my steak, but the house wine was passable. We visit Treguier twice a year, we won't be going back to this restaurant, I don't leave...

I can't find a separate listing for the hotel's brasserie, which is what I'm reviewing. I did not stay at the hotel so cannot report on that. The restaurant, however, was outstanding. We ate there three times in the week we stayed in Treguier. Each time, the food was fabulous and the prices more than fair. The final visit was...

Can't fin a separte review for the restaurant so this one, as a hotel, will have to do. A very mixed set of reviews here so all I can say that when we visited the service in the restaurant was fine, the food about as good as you can get at a provincial hotel restaurant. Set menu (starter, main, dessert)...

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends but it was a bomb! Four of us had the exact same experience...horrible service and average food at best. Three of us ordered salmon: mushy, tasteless. Apparently the calamari as a main dish was pretty tasteful. We almost had to beg for service. We waited at every stage. No one acknowledged our...

We chanced upon this restaurant and had the amazing-value 13 euro menu. The food was delicious, freshly cooked, nicely presented by a friendly waitress. It is in a good position by the river. I would recommend this place for an inexpensive and unpretentious meal.

Arrived at Tréguier on a Saturday evening at 9.30pm in peak season, looking for a last-minute place to stay. First tried the Aigue-Marine, but was put off by unfriendly service and shabby rooms. Further along the keyside, I came across the Estuaire. Situated above a small snackbar, it did not have such a welcoming entrance as the Aigue Marine. I...
