My wife and I spent 2 nights in November at the Hotel. The food was excellent, and the staff efficient and friendly. A roaring log fire to greet us after our outings was most welcome. With blue skies and a flat-calm loch to look at, there was no reason to be anywhere other than in Scotland!

Myself and my staff were delighted to read your lovely review of The Airds as it means so much to us all when we read such delightful comments. You were indeed very fortunate with the weather in that we enjoyed some great sunshine throughout a lot of November and whilst it was crisp, the sun did shine! As you say...

We have just spent the weekend at Airds and it did not disappoint. The service, food, staff and rooms were fantastic and the beds were super comfy. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and am looking forward to returning.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights to celebrate her birthday. Beautiful lounge areas with open fires and a lovely bedroom make this place a very comfortable place to stay. Our main reason for going was to sample their food and we were not disappointed. We had the tasting menu on our first night and dinner...

We hadn't explored the area around Oban and chose the Airds Hotel for an overnight stay at the start of October '14. Simply, it was a fantastic experience. The seven course tasting menu plus wine package was a real highlight. We have had tasting menus in Michelin star restaurants before and this was superior. The scallops and venison courses showed...

I'm almost afraid to write about this hotel as I'm afraid they might not have a room the next time we want to go. Airds is everything we want in a holiday hotel. Only stopped for lunch but service and food was excellent. Weather was at its Scottish best (worst) but was still a great little spot to visit. Rosettes and reviews deserved. Can't comment on accommodation but restaurant, lounge and loos well appointed and clean.
