This is a gem of a hotel and Sea food restaurant at the end of a dead end road to the ferry to Lismore in Argyll between Oban and Fort William. A very warm welcome awaits the traveller. The bar is warm, cosy and comfortable. There is a good selection of drinks, including excellent single malts. The bar menu is... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for first leg of our honeymoon. The rooms are really nice and the location is stunning. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We spent hours in the snug playing board games and relaxing with a drink . Great selection of scotch too. We will be back !

Such a fantastic place, amazing views, rooms so clean and comfy. Our only regret was that we stayed one night, would like to have done 2 at least. Great place to relax, read a book overlooking the water, have drink at sunset and dinner in the lovely dining room. Food was great - large portions, so don't over order! We... More

Spent two nights here in a cliff facing room. Even though there was no view, a thoughtfully provided bird feeder outside the window meant we could see all the antics of the local bird population. The room was immaculate, comfy bed, lovely bathroom and a really delicious breakfast. The staff were a delight, nothing was too much trouble and the... More

We have just had a lovely few days at the Pierhouse. The room was lovely, bed very comfortable and plenty of space for a third bed for our daughter. The food was great and the location terrific. The staff were really helpful and friendly and made us very much feel at home. We wish we could have stayed longer and... More

Comfortable and welcoming hotel. Spacious bedroom, comfy large bed, nice bathroom and soft white towels. Staff very friendly and helpful, food delicious. Great place for quiet restful break, and good base for exploring Oban, Fort William and surrounding areas.

This is still a wonderful location and must represent one of the best places to stay on the west coast. The rooms are cozy, the beds comfortable and everything works. The staff continue to be helpful and welcoming. The seafood continues to be perfect. Just go there and enjoy!

Thank you for your review and we welcome feedback whether positive or negative. We are extremely disappointed you were not impressed with the overall quality of our food, which in view of the other very positive reviews on Tripadvisor as you have mentioned, is highly unusual. I have however spoken with our Head Chef in view of your comments and... More
