We stayed at Olivia house for a weekend with family and loved it there! We stayed in the Angel room which was comfortable and very quirky! The bathroom is amazing and very spacious. The shower is very special as well with dual showers heads, lights and music! We had everything we needed and had free complimentary wine and welsh cakes on arrival which was a nice touch! The hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home. The location is very central too and just round the corner from the beach. I would certainly stay again and recommend already to family and friends.

Soon as we arrived we were made to feel so welcome Annette the owner is just perfect. The property was stunning truly breathtaking and so clean. We had the perfect 5* stay. Pure Luxury!! We actually could not believe what we had for the price.. Thank you we can’t wait to come back

Certainly a very welcoming and comfortable place to stay. Your every need is generously catered for. Be prepared to take on an acting persona as each room appears to replicate a theatrical place or time in its set up and decoration. It's great fun, quirky and even cool! Continental breakfast is provided in your room. It's close to the esplanade with a variety of restaurants nearby. Enjoy!

Wow did not expect this 1st class accommodation such a lovely warm welcome, complementary glass of wine and a welsh cake on arrival. Our twin room was perfect we were invited to look around all the other vacant rooms and all were decorated and dressed to the same high standard. The fridge in the room had bottles of orange juice, fresh milk a jar of freshly prepared fruit … I could go on about this gem of a place that we came across and so conveniently situated close to the beach town lovely bars and restaurants will certainly return soon.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this quirky BnB in Porthcawl, South Wales! The lovely host made me feel right at home, and the addition of the Sphinx cats added a unique and charming touch to the experience. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the beach and the local fairground. I can't recommend this place enough – it's a 5-star gem that I'd visit again in a heartbeat!

Just back from Olivia House after a three night stay. Managed to park in the street which helps when unloading the car and our room was on the top floor road facing so had a sea view. No problems with traffic noise or maybe it was because sleep was blissful as the bed was very, very comfortable. It is a continental breakfast as stated although we didn't bother apart from a cup of tea - we were offered fresh milk which was a bonus, not a great deal of extra space in the room so would have had to have breakfast in bed or take the yoghurt etc downstairs to the dining room. Olivia House is very close to the town so lots of independent options if you prefer a brunch later. Altogether a lovely stay and certainly not corporate which makes a pleasant change in todays hospitality world.

We arrived as 3 couples and received a warm friendly welcome . Two of our friends stayed in the beautiful furnished balcony room , the other 2 were in the Angel Room and we were in the Kings Room . Lovely Artistic decor and great attention to detail . All rooms snacks and drinks replenished daily . This hotel felt like being home from home . You are given keys and come to go as you please . There were bottles of wine and glasses left for guests to have if required . The two rooms down stairs are so uniquely decorated. They need to be seen personally to admire the no expense spared of the unique and unusual decor you don’t see on a day today basis in other hotels . The hotel is a true credit to Annette the owner who constantly reinvesting and striving to look at ways to make the experience more memorable if that’s possible . Also in superb location directly behind the Pavilion close to the seafront . We all thoroughly enjoyed it so much we’ve all booked again for next year . Would recommend this hotel if you are looking to celebrate a special occasion or event . You need look no further…

I would recommend this hotel to anybody as the rooms are fabulous, spotlessly clean and the bed's are very comfortable. You are not far from shop's,pubs and there are plenty of place's to eat . The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful if you needed anything.
