Stayed at Olivia's House whilst going to a wedding at The Pavilion, which was literally round the corner, very convenient. We were met by Annette, who was very welcoming, and taken up to our room which was a front room and beautifully furnished. Olivia House is situated in a beautiful street which leads down to the seafront. We didn't have... More

Quirky house, filled with wonderful bits and bobs. We stayed In the King's room. Beautifully laid out and nice finishing touches. Anette offered us the room next door for our baby which was very useful.

Great location in the centre of Porthcawl, I had a room called the French room at the top floor, the interior was different and very nice, the room had wooden floors which i appreciate. A separate en suite toilet and a bathtub in the bedroom. The bathtub was not very practical for a morning shower but it worked. I found... More

Although we are regular visitors to Porthcawl to see my father, this was the first time to stay at Olivia House. We were warmly welcomed by Annette and shown to the Gemini Room on the top floor. I guess the room might have been slightly smaller than others but still perfectly adequate for our one night stay. It had a... More

Stayed here for the fourth time when down to visit my father. This time brought my teenage kids with me. Lovely affectionate greeting and hug from the wonderful Annette. Rooms gorgeous and characterful --my daughter now has me looking for shabby chic bedroom furniture for her! Annette showed great humour and patience when my son managed to lock himself out... More

My husband and I stayed at Olivia House for a night away, it is a very warm and friendly Guest House, we had the King's Room, which had everything you could have asked for!! Lovely comfortable bed, luxury bath tub in the bedroom and plenty of amenities on offer too! The location was great, in walking distance to the town... More

Had a perfect stay on saturday 17th september. Beautiful boutique room (the french suite) with a fabulous roll top bath and super comfy bed. We were a stones throw from the sea front and all the bars and restaurants. We had a full english breakfast, never ending coffee and plenty of fresh fruit to choose from. All very tasty. The... This was a good choice for somewhere to put my head for the night as I was working locally. The room was clean and comfortable, the welcome was nice and the breakfast hearty. It's also in a quiet neighbourhood but within a few minutes walk of the seafront and local amenities. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend it... More

Beautiful location in a lovely road. Very welcoming on arrival and couldn't do enough to please. Rooms and beds were extremely comfortable and clean. The Hotel is an Aladdins Cave of world treasures- quite lovely. To polish it off the cooked breakfast was super. A wonderful host and we would definitely go back again. Fans from Coventry
