Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Karen & Steve are lovely people, they welcomed us into their home. The house, the bedroom, the en-suite and gardens were immaculate. Karen came in each day to clean the bathroom and brought fresh towels, toiletries, tea coffee etc.

We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend. The location is spectacular and the property was immaculate - everything at very high standards and best of all: we arrived as strangers and left as friends. The hosts Karen and Steve are very friendly and warmhearted people. Pendine Sands is 5 minutes by car and about 20 to 30 minutes by foot. Tenby is ½ hour by car. We went to Caldy Island. I would like to mention that we also had a very warm welcome at the spectacular looking medivial church, which is adjacent to the B&B.

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of August and received a warm welcome on arrival from the owners Karen and Steve. We stayed in the Lime room which was a great size with plenty of room and the bathroom was also very big with a wonderful large shower. We were very cautious about covid but we were reassured by Karen and Steve before our trip and once we arrived we could see that the rooms were spotless and extra measures had been put in place. This gave us great peace of mind, everything was so clean and comfortable. There was also a fridge in the room which was very useful. The B&B is situated in a lovely quiet spot with plenty of room for parking. We have already recommended the B&B to family and friends and we would love to stay here again. Thanks to Karen and Steve we have wonderful happy memories of our stay.

Hi Bridget and family, thank you so much for your fantastic review and we're so glad that you felt comfortable and able to relax, with our extra Covid Safety measures. The fridge is a recent addition, we thought it would be useful for guests. I know we find it handy when we go away anywhere. Thank you very much for recommending us to others, that's very kind of you. Take care and hopefully see you again sometime 🙂

We spent 11 nights, including our Wedding Anniversary, at this lovely establishment looked after by the owners, Karen and Steve. The arrangements covering Covid19 were excellent and everything was kept spotlessly clean with modifications put in place to enable an enjoyable continental style breakfast to be take in your room. Nothing was too much trouble for Karen and Steve to make our stay highly enjoyable. This was our fourth visit here and our first following the outbreak of Covid and we will definitely return.

Stayed for three nights at the end of June. Lovely warm welcome from Karen & Steve. Immaculately clean and a really comfortable bed. We were in the Lime room which is a good size and the large en-suite has a fabulous shower. Located in a lovely quiet spot overlooking a pretty little church. We had a perfect short break. Would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely B&B. Thanks to both of you. Margaret & Peter.

Stayed for three nights. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and gave us lots of advice on where to go and what to see. They even phoned the local pub and booked us a table for our evening meal. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The property is located in a quiet village and overlooks the Church. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Karen and Steve are a really friendly couple and gave me a lovely welcome when I arrived after a long drive. I stayed in their very comfortable Poppy room with en-suite. It was large and absolutely spotless. If you’re sensitive to smells, it’s worth asking in advance if the air freshener could be removed from the room and if your bedding could be washed without perfumed fabric conditioner. Karen and Steve recommended that I get an evening meal in the New Inn pub a few miles away, and that was a great recommendation. As a solo female traveller, I found the pub friendly and the food tasty. In the morning, Karen and Steve served a good cooked breakfast, with endless supplies of toast and tea/coffee. I wish I’d been able to stay here longer because the nearby locations looked fabulous and the house was so comfortable.

Hi Sue, thank you very much for your great review, we really appreciate it. With prior notice, we can most certainly wash bedding with unperfumed liquid and have done so for guests. Any guest is most welcome to remove the air freshener. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. Best wishes Karen and Steve.

I stayed here with my 3½ year old son. Karen and Steve couldn't have made us feel more welcome, the perfect hosts :) We stayed in the Poppy room which was lovely - tastefully decorated, very comfortable, immaculately clean, with everything you need and with a sea view! The room is large with a very comfy king size bed. Aside from tea and coffee facilities, TV and toiletries etc we even had a large bottle of water (great touch and very much appreciated!) and a lovely jar of biscuits which my son was very happy about! :) Pendine Sands Bed and breakfast really is excellent, highly recommended. I will certainly be hoping to stay again the next time I'm visiting Pendine!
