Friendly welcome to this modern hotel and throughout. Car parking was sorted out and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Good breakfast, we visited the town to go to the Elstree BBC studios and this hotel was a very good option for a trip to this area.

I picked this hotel due to its nearness to the Elstree studios. It’s actually only across the road to the studios and a gentle 15 minute walk from the station. It was really cheap so we didn’t expect too much but thought it’s convenience made it worth risking and how glad we chose it. The room smallish but more than big enough, modern, clean and very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and the beds and pillows are very comfortable too. The bathroom is again modern and clean. Shampoo and soap are provided but no extras although I hadn’t expected them to be included because of the price. Towels are soft and fluffy. Everything was just right.
We had booked breakfast and again, didn’t expect too much because of the price but it was every bit as delicious as any buffet breakfast we’ve had at the far more expensive chains we usually stay in. Everything we could have wanted was on offer except bacon but it did have vegan sausages. It was such good value, we will definitely use the chain again .

This was my second stay at the hotel and I'm starting to think that this might be my last. Whilst the hotel is in a prime location for those who are attending recordings at the nearby Elstree Studios and want a room for a cheap price (if you know where to look). I was a little disappointed by the state of my room. There multiple and noticeable scuff marks on the wall, plus some of the bedding had small holes in them.
I know Ibis isn't a top tier hotel but you expect the rooms to be in a decent condition.

Disappointment is an understatement.
The staff of this hotel is absolutely marvellous: they help you with a smile, they work really hard and they always go the extra-mile.
However, there are simply not enough of them. As a result you will find dust, crumbs and other “bits” in corridors, bathrooms, communal areas, breakfast tables, chairs, reception furniture etc
This is clearly the organisation trying to save money at all costs.
I paid £8.95 for my breakfast and I had to chase the receptionist for glasses, juice, baked beans etc.
You will see the receptionist cleaning the tables at breakfast time, replacing cups, dealing with customers, checking out guests and everything else.
To be honest, I feel sorry for the staff and angry with the “management” of the place.
I will not return to this hotel.

As lockdown restrictions continue, The Ibis London Elstree Borehamwood has continued to offer excellent value for money, cleanliness, comfort and peace of mind.
The staff are gems! Helpful and accommodating. The ability of the team to adapt the menu to accommodate dietary requirements has been so welcome. Thank you Steven, Laurenciou and Myumyun. If you are a key worker in need of accommodation in the Barnet, Brent, Harrow, Watford locality- The Ibis could be your key! Be Well.

Overall the hotel is ok, it’s ideal for somewhere to sleep if your going to have a late night in the Elstree area. The room was clean but the shower gel was empty and the bath towels are small and rather worn out. However they did find us us room before the 3pm check in time at a £20 charge, so maybe they were a little rushed. There are not many staff so the service was average and you had to wait a while for assistance, this also made the breakfast rather slow as it took a while for some of the items to be replaced. Tea and coffee in the room is a nice touch for the price and the free parking is a bonus. There is also a larger car park behind which they issue a ticket for £1. A bargain.

This hotel is good for one night and does the job. It was clean, comfy and an easy place to stop in our journey.
Upon arrival the reception staff were great at checking us in and helping us purchase a car park ticket for £1.
We had a standard double en-suite room on the third floor. It had the basic facilities of a bed, bathroom, tv, kettle and storage.
However a slight issue we had with our bathroom is that the door did not shut with ease, this was rather tricky at night time in the dark. Although for one night it was okay to get by.
Overall it was a decent hotel, staff were friendly and we would stay over there again should we be travelling that way.

This Hotel is an ideal location, within walking distance of the Film Studios and the station just 15 to 20 minuets walk. It is an easy drive to anywhere in London. The hotel is always very clean and the staff are polite and helpful. The free car parking is a bonus. i stay here regally and would recommend it to anyone.

Booked here as we were attending a tv show recording at Elstree studios.
This hotel is ideally placed as it is only a short walk across the road to the studios, and it offers free parking!
Check-in a little skow as the receptionist seemed to struggle with her hand-held device, but got there in the end.
Room was clean and adequate, but not well designed.
Bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.
At £31 for the night we stayed - extremely good value.
Would recommend.

They don't have safes in the room, but they got safes in room next to reception, which is locked obviously and only staff can enter. You just set your own pin when you need to use the safe. It was secure enough for me, since regular guest have no access there.
