nice place to stay and the room was nice. mary and her family were very nice to talk to and breakfast was good. I would come back and stay the place was clean and bathroom and bedroom very nice. it is currently under scaffolding for renovation and you do hear the noise from traffic outside which can go on til...

This was a family reunion to celebrate my uncles anniversary who lived and died in Accrington, we had guests from Germany Ireland Preston Sheffield and Barrow in Furness, this B/B was a fantastic base for a short stay, although it's a little tired you can see that the plan for refurbishment is under way and on that I wish Mary...

Very good breakfast & plenty of it, kept us going all day on a trip to Blackpool zoo. It's right next to the train station as well. A wee bit outdated with no ensuite, but very clean, and Mary was very pleasant. The only niggle is that the stairs are quite steep if you have bad knee's

stayed for one night as was in the area on business . Building was large and probably in its hey day was popular. For me it was dated and old fashioned but spotless. I have to remember it was a B&B and not 4/5 star hotels that I am used to booking so with that thought in mind it was...

I really enjoyed my stay in Pilkingtons b&b this week. There was a lovely homely feel to the place, both ladies who work there were pleasant and helpful. i stayed at the Pilkingtons over 2weeks, I did not actually enjoy Accrington town but coming back to the B&B was something i looked forward to; friendly environment and owner plus the location is perfect too.

I stayed here due to the last review, and would echo everything said. Perfect location - right next to the Station and Town centre, but no noise problems - huge tesco extra just over the railway bridge, Take Aways opposite if required, pub showing all the sports 100 yards away. Perfect host - Mary looks after it at the weekends...

So glad to be the first to review this Guest House.  I stayed here for one night and certainly not disappointed the owner Mary is lovely and very friendly Lady she makes you very welcome. For £30 a night (single room) plus a full english breakfast with home grown yellow tomatoes and her very own free range eggs well worth...
