We stayed here for only one night, but it was memorable for all the right reasons. Val couldn't have been more obliging before we stayed and that continued during the stay. We had a minor problem with water which she was on to like a shot, but it was her little extras that made all the difference. She even brought... More

Just off the beaten track is this outstanding guest house. Fantastic hospitality with a very large and well equipped bedroom. Breakfast was superb. I can't fault this excellent accommodation and would certainly stay again, and again.

This is an excellent bed and breakfast. Val, the proprietor, has a very easy and engaging charm welcoming us on arrival and making sure that we understood all the door locking procedures, breakfast times and choices all without fuss but done very efficiently. Although she had several other guests staying that night, she seemed to know instinctively who we were,... More

Thrid time we have stayed and it gets better each time. A great propery in a beautiful rural setting on the edge of the village. Inreresting walks around or just sit and relax in the garden. But the real gem is Val, the owner. So friendly and welcoming, generous to a fault, nothing too much trouble. Just like being with... More

Difficult to believe this place is so close to Leeds and Bradford.. It is tucked away down a quiet lane near to the canal and is very peaceful. Our room was large and comfortable, breakfast was generous and the host was very welcoming... Definitely a good place to stay.

We loved this place; should be 6 stars! Beautiful lane with stunning scenery, Val makes a wonderful host and cooks an incredible breakfast. The room was large with a lovely shower and very comfy bed. We had everything we could've asked for from our stay, we'll be back again!

Only 200 yds off Leeds-Liverpool canal and easy navigation. On NW outskirts of Leeds-Bradford connubation and found driving there much more difficult as located down an unmarked farm track, OK with sat nav not OS maps. What a lovely place to stay. Before our stay our son had stayed here when he travelled down from Scotland for an interview. His interview was successful and we accompanied him on this visit to find him somewhere permanent to stay. Val remembered him, congratulated him and made us feel so welcome. Our room was beautiful and the bed was... More

This is a perfect location for cycling/walking along the canal and also for a visit to the world heritage site at Saltaire. Val is a great host ; she is very concerned to ensure everything is "just right ".and even loaned us a bike when one of ours disintegrated .The room we stayed in was lovely; high ceiling, spotlessly clean... Beautiful views over countryside, a peaceful retreat. Val was the perfect host, she suggested a taxi for our evening out in Saltaire, along with recommending a visit to Fanny's Ale House. Our room was perfect; spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortablle we have slept in. Breakfast was yummy, with plenty of choice. I went... More
